I'd be reasonably sceptical other than the trades this afternoon do appear to potentially support action of some sort imv. Of course it could be a false dawn but if it does have legs then 28p should be breached. I'd expect it's got to be 35p++ when all done.

A vaccine protects whether 70,90 Or 95% so majority don't suffer let alone die and should curtail infectious period. Covid is a unique virus in which we all have no natural immunity. It's a novel virus. I don't see any scientist saying not to develop a vaccine especially remembering the increased morbidity to flu and long covid

Vaccines are worthwhile for covid just as for flu and covid has a far higher mortality rate.
In addition your figure does not include Long Covid which is less age predictive and is often life changing. A vaccine is needed and is on it's way in spite of your Neanderthal views.
We can all discuss the economic and social actions taken and be critical but we surly do require a vaccine.

I will stick with the response to seek a vaccine. A response that is universally agreed upon around the world. The Oxford vaccine is as likely to be toxic as the flu vaccine is as based on same methodology.

It's not rocket science and these scare stories are getting ridiculous.
