Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Double-edged sword that though isn't it? Coffers are more than ok atm and it'd be nice to swerve the churn and dilution. Update will come when it does regardless.
Went a bit 'Line of Duty' on my last post there, must be catching.
Often a good sign I usually feel MriGoat. Could be something stirring although might just be traders, we are somewhat oversold atm imo. All of us LTHs are waiting for that killer RNS, should simply be a matter of time. Another investment wouldn't hurt either, still wondering what JN has his eye on next...
Nelson, I absolutely agree. We can however take comfort in the fact that so many warrants have cleared and SGS have taken their full stake out without plunging us below our old range. Just an RNS away from glory...
Good find BD. I find this to be the salient line 'The trial reduced the number of deaths in patients receiving AZD1656, a promising finding which will need to be analyzed further by the researchers, when cellular immunology results become available, before the study results undergo peer review.' which explains the delay somewhat. And this bit is totally exciting: Professor Martin, Chairman of SGSC and Principal Investigator on the UKRI grant said that "we have demonstrated our ability to rapidly deliver a clinical trial in 16 months from conception to completion. The promising results from this trial indicate that AZD1656, a simple oral tablet, has the potential to become a new treatment for COVID-19. It is beneficial regardless of viral mutations. It is the first specific treatment for COVID disease (as opposed to antivirals or vaccines) and may herald a new field of drugs activating cells in the body which become themselves the therapeutic agent."
Yep. Looks like the board has a regular troll bedding in. Unsurprising given that this is a sweet time and price to be accumulating. It's been a real test of conviction and patience here but I do believe that we will be well rewarded by the year's end. GLA
I go away for a week and when I get back the BB is all intelligent again now that the P&D crew have departed.
BD - Good numbers, but don't we have to knock off the first £20m (roughly)? Also isn't there an ongoing partnership with CIZ in developing diagnosic tools alongside which may lead to favourable terms? Please do correct me if I am wrong.
I am utterly delighted by that RNS. That is all.
It does look like SGSC are selling into any strength, I don't see who else would atm. It'll work itself out in time and if the anticipated news does drop it'll have to push on higher.
I'm taking a week off which is why I've been quiet here lately, but I did say many times that I was most excited about the Aeristech investment. Be interesting to see what happens here tomorrow. Holding long and strong. GLA
I also agree with you about MODE btw. They should never have dumped Bitcoin Jar in favour of getting FCA approved. Looked like a massive own goal to me, but they have a roadmap and maybe it'll come good in the end, 50/50 imo
I missed AAA too but did wade in to RDGC. I've also been here over a year, my point is that the pedigree is sound. My feeling is that we are building from a tiny mcap looking for disruptive tech, there's bags of warrants and it may well take a long time to get in to second gear. But, the SGCS deal is going to deliver decent returns and something that JN invests in will really move at some point, he's got such form. When it does and we've finally churned away all the warrants that gave us seed capital JN will have a bigger pot to play with and you will have got in at the ground floor. I think that he can pick them often enough and is a genius at the corporate structuring. It's a long play (probably) but I really think that one day it'll really go. That's why it's my largest holding and my strongest conviction play, but it's just my opinion. I'm trusting the personnel, thinking that JN is one of the best in the business. No guarantees ever but I feel good about it and I'll give it as long as it takes.
Yep. Quite a pullback, admit that I'm surprised. Should bounce on commercialisation news, maybe new investments, maybe one of our IPOs happening. Have a good weekend all.
Where to start Unclejim? I'll point you at AAA and RDGC first, then direct you towards the fact that we have IPOs to come. MTI Wireless is nearly evens and building nicely. None of this is short term stuff and the odd thing may fail but it's all medium to long term. That said JN is capable of being ruthless as he was when the opportunity presented itself with KNB.
8 week wait I meant
It was my understanding that preliminary results were available during the data lock period and although we we told we would see them, we didn't. I think that the full report is imminent along with publication in a peer reviewed journal, then press, commercialisation, further trials etc. Although they've tweeted that they have preliminary findings, I don't think we have an week wait from here, hours or days imho
If I thought like that TH then I would have tried to sell/buy back on the news, but I've never been good at that. I'm just holding and adding when I can, especially when I (mistakenly) think we've bottomed. This is a massive conviction share for me long-term and I do think that once we get numbers for the trial we could bump up.
Agreed BD. Volume remains impressive so there is appetite.
If I had to guess I would say that they are all sells and SGCS are selling part or all of their stake, in which case the SP isn't doing too badly. Only 110 or so trades like that and they are out...
Agree with the comments on press attention and the reasons for holding off. As for a Phase 3 study I'm sure that this wraps into the commercialisation agreements but it's my understanding that all the safety data has been collected for this drug at large scale already, so maybe an accelerated efficacy process is possible especially in the current climate. As much as we are obsessing about Arcadia I'm still getting most excited about the Airestech IPO and hoping for further investment there, but that's just me I guess.
