Selling over for today. Here come the buy orders in anticipation of a positive TR1 in the coming days. Gradual uptick this afternoon in readiness for a RNS drop, possibly as early as tomorrow.

“ May have found something of interest while digging around earlier - it seems there is a brand new medical diagnostic testing startup registered just three days before James Normand appointment and appears it is registered at a business address that JN has had involvement with before.Also of note is that the proposed CEO is a close associate of JN who he has connections with going way back.Might be a pure coincidence of course but i have a sense there could be something in this,there was obviously a reason Vela brought JN in when they did and perhaps more telling why he took the role. Could see some real fireworks here soon IMVHO”

What if his shares have been snapped up by the Kamani family and this becomes something of a JV and a takeover attempt backed, effectively, by Boohoo and PLT? Thinking specifically about tweets last week regarding Klarna, world domination and Umar Kamani’s 50p accompanied by a signing emoji. Crazy eh? Anything goes with Amigo...

Thank you for seeing the irony Gerry! It will get close to 70p in the short term on sentiment alone.

The key will be to get out at the right point because the medium term impact of COVID-19 on CARD does not look good in terms of the retail sector in general and the amount of headroom left in the RCF. There's no point keep banging on about online sales because they pale into insignificance in comparison to store sales.

Don't tell 101 but I'm in banking so do mostly know what I'm talking about.
