Is TIPTOP a bit TIPSAY????????????
Can anyone give an educated guess as to when the cpr figures will be released?
An oil company will take out a short licence for a field or block to do some exploration work. If there happens to be an oil or gas find they will then work with the government and negotiate a deal for extended licences to cover production from existing wells and more exploration. The fact that they want to extend the licence to 2047 tells me that the government already have a good idea of whats down there.
Sufcessex i think you mean first aid.
I cant sit and watch this retrace like it did a year ago. I know theres plenty good to come but all i see is more costs. Lingering over the will there or wont there be a placing for more funds to drill in march/april. Good luck to all lth. If my stop loss didnt trigger yesterday i would have probably rode it out with you all. No such luck. All the best people.
Bloody stop losses got triggered. Had to buy back in at 2p. Raging. At least i got some profit though. Did not expect this to go sub 2p at all. Crappy day. :(
I think we will get more clarity tomorrow at mid day. This conference isnt for the faint hearted. If he doesnt give the big investors clear intentions with how this project is moving forward then they will eat him alive. Mid day will be the make or break for big investment opertunities.
My guess would be that the upgrade to topside facilities means that they dont have the equipment to process the 5000 boopd that will be coming from the djenno. And maybe more if theres oil at vanji. Ooooooo what a day! Well done all LTH.
I think it was paddington that had marmalade sandwiches not pooh, hes a honey man.
Aye. Im sure you are fae Korea. If Korea exists in the North East of Scotland.
" Chill oot folks" Clumpet where are you from?
:)
I can feel it coming in the air!
If they are in controlled drilling then the longer we wait for an RNS the bigger the potential resevoir size. Keep in turning in my opinion.
No, a failure is a failure. As in nothing comes of the plan. There is quite obviously good things about the kraken. Maybe production rates arnt as expected. On terms with the whole kraken project i would be optimistic to say thats its been one of the most sucessful projects the north sea has seen. And they pulled it off during a major downturn. I think you need to check yourself out pleth.
Kraken is no where near a failure
Msestro, give me his number then since you seem so close to the man! I will call him tomorrow before the bell.
Maestro it is as simple as 50/50 or as complex as 66.66666/33.3333333. Reason being. The djenno formation is there. And it either contains oil, gas or water. 2 out of the three of them results are good for buisness. And 50/50 its either there or it isnt.
I never said that not being able to cope with the pressure of 5000 boopd is a bad thing. Its a bloody decent problem to be dealing with. And an issue im sure in this day and age would be rectified quite quickly.
Woody, I agree. They may let the market know that they encountered hydrocarbons under pressure but i would say they would probably go with. We have found hydrocarbons at pressure from depth xxxx to depth xxxx. Obviously they wont be able to get flow rates untill they flow test. That in itself might take a while because sefton hinted that if they do hit djeno the conductor and top hole set up might not be able to cope with the pressure.
