Splitting hairs, but that's how the troll game is played, 17 different perforations for MOU 3, but each one will have to be tested.

How many zones were there to test? 2-3 days per zone with say 17 zones would be 34-51 days, so we are still at least 10-27 days away from news imho.

I expect PG's next RNS to have details of flow rates from each zone, plus a resources update along with details of an agreement to sell the asset and therefore a Special Dividend payable to shareholders. After that, he will need to give full details of Mou 1, 2 & 4 testing and update on where we are with Mou 5 and drill rig.

He's got his hands full!

As a relatively newcomer to the board, I have to say it does go very quiet when you filter out the trolls, who were out in large numbers this morning, so news must be close and their paymasters have not yet achieved their goals yet.

I normally sit and say very little, if nothing, but looking at your whingeing whining posts has got my goat.

You are lucky to have invested in a company with a ‘World class’ asset and a with a BOD who regularly update you. Having been in USOP for over 10 years in a company that can best be described as a ‘lifestyle’ company where it is no longer listed and RNS’s are as common as a Manchester United clean sheet, and where a fund raising for the sole purposes of drilling turned in to a further land purchase, you have no idea how lucky you are, so stop whining and whingeing and just sit back and wait patiently for results. There’s a good boy.

Sorry, copied from the RNS on 25 September. Not a long term holder, about 100,000 shares, but been silent in the background.

The MOU-2 well was drilled in January 2023. The Company announced on 25 January 2023 that the MOU-2 well had been suspended at 1,260 metres measured depth above the primary pre-drill reservoir target.

Following the drilling of MOU-4 later in 2023 re-interpretation of the MOU-2 penetrated section confirmed that MOU-2 had in fact fully penetrated the intended primary objective but was not capable of being evaluated by wireline logs.

MOU-2 recovered 3 gas samples from 3 separate sands between 525.5 and 674 metres measured depth with associated gas peaks. These sands are behind well casing and therefore were not evaluated by a wireline logging programme.

The MOU-3 well drilled later in 2023 encountered some shallow over-pressured gas in the equivalent MOU-2 section which could not be logged or tested after a risk evaluation as the casing design and cement integrity at the shallow level posed a risk of uncontrolled gas flow if the over-pressured section was perforated. This interval could be perforated and tested in MOU-2.

MOU-2 was safely suspended for future well re-entry and testing of the shallow gas.

As MOU-2 is still accessible in the well through a properly engineered re-entry, there is no basis to consider an impairment provision for accumulated MOU-2 well costs to date.
