Sekforde - agreed oral hearing is only a formality but my understanding is that oral hearing option is not guarenteed pending on the judgement wording? and HMRC had to request within 7 days if applicaple. Given that court decision was made 19th June we should find out soon enough whether deal will be completed this week or short delay.

For me it is all about pending Waldorf completion news, not a legal set date but company indicated completion by the end of Q2 . If RNS drops in the morning big upside towards 245p from this exremely oversold position. If a few more days delay then 205p before any upside.

Those who are much more knowledgable in technicals can explain much better than me but this is the most oversold position I have ever seen HBR since I have been investing and we are arguably at our strongest position with a company fundementals.

I have to say I was not expecting to see below 241p but combination of Waldorf completion delay due to ongoing HMRC appeals, drop in oil/gas prices and known BASF approach brought us to extremely oversold levels again. I also bought my last batch to drop my SIPP/ISA avarage to 240s with a hope that we will get back to 245p plus level again soon enough with Waldorf completion announcement.

May be little more to go yet but I feel 215-217p level will provide enough support for a bounce. Waldorf deal is a major enabler to unlock number of benefits even at current brent/gas price. HMRC lost all appeals ( as per 26th June announcement on Waldorf site ) HBR now has a clear path to finish all administrative items to announce the Waldorf completion, hoping for RNS sometime this week.

Perhaps LLOG lock up period for a year as part of the purchase and 90 days lock up for the remaining BASF shares after March block listing are the main blockers.

BW recent purchase certainly is a positive move towards ftse 100 and am sure more to come in coming weeks from others as well as HBR buying significant amount off BASF shares as part of the buy back programme.

It would be good to see HBR joining the ftse 100 this time around but if not, am sure big players are already aware of the outcome and positioning themself to make sure they can join the party for inavitable. HBR is comfortably in top 90 today and given the FCF and all the other metrics favouring better outcomes prior September it is all about resolving share holders allocation and lock ups before Q3 announcement.

Benside - Perhaps you think that way based on initial transaction date and lock up agreement in 2024? but as off June 2026 BASF sold number of shares and reduced their share holding significantly. I also think recent BW 150mn share transaction was designed to support FTSE 100 promotion. I am sure we will all find out soon enough.

Don't need to waste my time reading ur previous posts to know that you are very vocal on the downside and fairly quite otherwise.

We all buy and sell shares on our thoughts what is so special about what u do. I also use TA but factor in fundementals perhaps a bit more than you and works for me 90% of the time.

No need to go into the details yet again how many shares you hold , how you make your profit and you are a significant share holder we heard the story many times.

You are correct on being confused not sure why afterall it is a stock market and if it was that easy to make money everyone will do it everyday. I encourage everyone to read whats widely available about HBR and make a decision on their own thoughts like you and me so no need to try to confuse others in here.

You seem to be quick to highlight TA downside posibilities often enough, what is the TA view on the upside?

All the fundemental company news out there for all to see and sooner or later TA will swing to the upside given the FCF generation at $80+ brent, dept reduction, increase production, better tax environment ( Waldorf) buy backs , divi payments,none core assett sales...

Of course it would be great to catch the bottom and sell at the top but my view is that current SP level is a great entry level to hold for 3 to 6 months to make decent profit.

Stumpy - Good to see you back with some positive spins here and there and planting the seeds now for 241 after going on about 150 for weeks before you gone quite. Good job I and many others did not listen you at the timee otherwise we would have lost on the upside to 318.

Of course 246 posible if all goes against HBR but Ihigher posibility of 400 plus by the end of Q3 and divi.

I could have done better with trading the upside but did well enough to be all in again at 262. Lets see where we are by the end of the year....

Thanks Stumpy - already in 2/3, I will hold and see how things progress b4 I add 1/3 either on the way down or up.

I believe once all December news delivered by the end of Q1 market will see things differently. Hoping brent will be stable above $60 and romours around early exit EPL as well as US prime listing Q2/Q3 will provide much needed upside. I still think SP will be closer to 300p more so than 150p by the year end.

Y11 - it is ok to have an opinion about the direction of the SP but no need to be arrogant and call it definetely will go to X price. No one knows what the SP will definetly be in 1 week, 1 month or 1 year. You seem to think that you know more about the valuation of LLOG then many qualified people works for Shell and Harbour who had all the relevant details to come up with £3-3.2bn value.

I will appricaite if you can tell us all what the lottery numbers are for the weekend so we don't have to worry about investment.

Stumpy - I certainly do appriaciate ur input and sharing ur downside stradegy. I don't have the tech skills but I try to enter to any share with a help of basic tech analysis. Given my avarage in SIPP around 210 and ISA around 2I8 didn't get my entry points right with HBR. So far doing ok with SQZ , also little investment in ENQ and TLW doing ok.

Gap fill 151 -158 and mid 140s clearly posible and I will also buy 50k in my ISA and 150k in SIPP to get my avarage down somewhere below 200 if that plays out.

My conciction/logic in buying UK oil company shares is that by 2028 oil price will be much higher than what currently is and EPL won't be in place. Both should benefit my exposure in UK oil companies ( TLW is just a play on dept situation they will either resolve or go bust).

My motive is to double my investment in HBR within 2 years ( can wait longer) Now that you made ur downside stradegy very clear, I would appricaite if you can share ur upside stradegy with ur tech knowledge. Where are the gaps above 210p and where do you see the SP within 12 to 24 months with Brent at 70 plus, no EPL and all known buy/sell transactions completed?

Of course like any other investment there is always a downside risk but the upside is far greater thats why I have taken a long position in here.

Nothing wrong with talking ur own book or having a negative view in short/med or long term. I also have a lot of shares in HBR with an avarage slightly lower than urs but I don't come around and keep repeating myself that I believe HBR will go down to 151p. Genuine question, if you believe strongly that we will see 151 why don't you reduce ur substantial holding at current price and buy back at 150s?

Stumpy - I never claimed that I have got a knowledge just shared some info with a help of Ai.

I have been in and out of PMO/Harbour since 2016 and if history repeats itself I should be able to double my investment within the next 3-4 years and fair to say don't need much knowledge to do that with HBR just need to be patient.

NewK - I thought we all have the same motive when investing. I want to make a few £££ and have decent long position in HBR and SQZ.

I mostly invest my SIPP which allows me to be patient with HBR so happy to wait till 2030 to double my investment or when the SP gets to 430p which ever comes first. I might try my luck and start trading 1/3 in 300s or buy more if Y11 is right with a bottom of his range he keeps referring to.
