Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
From what I get we won't get the EIA until the end of 2022.
As part of the environmental impact assessment, you submitted EIA documentation for the project, but the Ministry of the Environment wants you to supplement it with a number of studies, such as dispersion, noise or hydrogeology. You yourself have announced some time ago that you are insisting on a full assessment in the EIA process. So are you really ready to complete the documentation?
We definitely expect to complete the documentation. We already knew at the time of the application that some additional studies would come. In the next few months, all studies should be completed and next year everything should be completed and the documentation should be supplemented with all requirements. Some studies are seasonal, so we'd like to finish by the end of next year.
I think at this point in time nobody gives a rat's anymore about Rodney or the price of lithium hydroxide. What we all want here is to hear finally something from the company. Anything.
It's all good iplitigator, no hard feelings. Despite our disputes with Fingy we both believe in the project. What we disagree on is the continuously missed timeline and the initial volume of production. The frustration comes maybe from holding that long. The longer you hold the more the frustrations along the way.
I am not attacking anyone. Just responding the same way they respond to me. Action brings reaction. I don't know what you mean by making money on EMH on my expense since I am interested in EMH for more than five years.
Sorry Fingersxd, I forgot not put a few lol lol lol. You see you had a laugh about me because I thought that the DFS and BFS are two different studies, which they are.
I think now everyone else has a laugh about you thinking that DFS and BFS are the same thing.
P.S.
Lol
That's for you Fingersxd, thank you for proving your ignorance one more time.
Once a mining company has established the size and quality of its deposit, ample research must then be conducted to determine whether the resource can be extracted both economically and profitably.
To determine this outcome, an enormous amount of research and proof of concept is required to establish whether the project should go ahead, be redesigned, or abandoned.
Usually, four stages of proof are undertaken which represent the general levels of certainty reached:
Scoping (or Conceptual) Study
Pre-feasibility (or Preliminary) Study (PFS)
Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS)
Bankable feasibility study (BFS)
In brief, the Scoping Study is an early-stage study based on the forecast economics and assumptions of the mining project.
It is used for development planning and aims to determine whether further studies should go ahead. If the results obtained in the study are compelling, then the company should proceed to the PFS, which is more detailed and results more reliable.
The DFS follows the PFS and is the most detailed and comprehensive study, determining definitively whether to proceed with the project.
All parameters including geological, engineering, legal, operating, economic, social, environmental are considered in order for the company to have near certain confidence of the success of the project.
The BFS is the final stage before development, including the necessary detail on what terms financiers should lend to the company.
This study determines whether the project is profitable and how much capital will be required, allowing for the bank and engineers to determine if risks are acceptable, and confirm that the project is viable.
Sorry laintittle but I don't share your optimism. knowing EMH and all the missed timelines, knowing that 51% is owned by CEZ which is 70% owned by the government, I am not that positive that we will get the final mining permit in the next 7 months. Isn't the DFS due first quarter of 2022?
Yes Fingersxd, you have no idea about mining. Because you bought a certain amount of shares in the company doesn't make you knowledgeable about the certain industry. I bought some bank shares,..... doesn't make a banker. I bought some gold juniors shares, doesn't make me a miner. Because you copy pasted for years some links in regards to the ev revolution or talking to the CEO doesn't make you an expert in the field. You showed your ignorance when I asked about how much soul we need to excavate and process in order to come up with one ton of lithium hydroxide. You thought you had the answer and tried to be a smart a.... only to make a fool of yourself. Do you want Green machine to explain it to you want more time how is calculated?
Major, as for sitting down with the top brass, don't worry, I know that they would tell you exactly what you want to hear. Some people in here bragging about talking with the CEO or meeting the top employees, this doesn't tell me anything. What Fingersxd has failed to mention here is that he was also talking to the CEO of Kneomedia, KNM : asx, a CEO that has employed his own wife and daughter as well in the company, simply a thug, that he was telling him exactly what he want him to hear, that he bought million of shares to a company that went from 0.14 to 0.01. So much about talking to CEO's.
Or are you confident that we will receive the mining and environmental permits before the official release of the DFS so the company will move to increase the projected 27.500 tons of the PFS?
Yes, now you make sense even though I don't see second plant coming so early on, just about 18 months after first one initiating production. First everything would have to be proven operational and with no problems on a grand scale that we will undertake. In my opinion a second plant will come at least three to four years later. But I may alter my opinion depending on what happens with the permits for the initial plant. Somehow EMH have missed every timeline target, I don't think you disagree with that. Let's see IF we get the DFS by mid next year and if the late 2023 beginning 2024 is close to reality.
So we agree that the DFS will be based on the PFS numbers. We also agree that there will be a parallel study exploring the possibility of doubling production and that in KC's words it won't impact or delay the work that is currently done on the DFS. This study will come surely after the DFS. When? I think nobody can predict.
Now about the boiled frog. Sorry man buy I can't bring myself to boil the poor thing alive. Though I don't mind some frog legs pané, these are delicious. Try them if you haven't. But don't boil any frog alive, is just inhumane. I prefer goat stew without boiling be the goat alive......
