RE: Holding the shares31 Dec 2024 16:27
Looks like Long and his cohort Harley have disappeared up their own backsides.
The reality is this company has had some major headwinds to deal with-problems at Board level, excessive salaries, balance sheet structure with the CLN, Standard List issues with tax, crazy notion with anode chemistry, too low cap for AIM,MB dealing etc.
I pointed each and every one of these problems out and almost to a man, I was subject to appalling abuse-even now, Long says he’s relaxed-maybe he likes losing money?
Delisting will help the company raise money from VCTs-again I pointed this out a few weeks ago, with the problems of AIM and the fast track rules(note I was shot at for that too)The downside will be that it’s a private company for a while-that gives the board the opportunity to restructure, but leaves PIs with no liquidity and relying on protection under the Companies Act.Valuation of raises will be more akin to new money rewarding management-not pretty for existing shareholders though you may get EIS if you are included in the financing.
On balance I would sell and SP fall reflects it.I think current equity is torched and this is now a typical PE deal with execs getting sweat equity.
