Apart from going through a shotgun wedding to my first wife, taking an enormous punt on capita has been the worst decision of my life. It is so clearly turning around at the time when AI is empowering call centre businesses.
Someone made the really good comment that the stock market has very little to do with the value of a company. It is quite ridiculous that the sale of capita one is bringing in more than 12 p per share and here we are, struggling to stay at 17p.
I do appreciate you guys trying to make sense of it. As discussed months ago though I do think we are all guilty of egging each other on and believing our own hype. Not sure what the answer to that is.
The agony is that this company is worth a lot more than the share price, so we are right, but we've got our timing wrong. You can't tell anything by the share price going up a few pence.
