The one positive thing is that as a Leap IPO if off the table no doubt Ed will now be piling in. I mean isnt that what a CEO would do to show he has confidence in the company he runs?

As some who hasnt dealt with a SL mining op before, if it takes them this long to approve/reject the EIA how long is it gonna take for then to approve the ML? Or is it likely to approve the ML at the same time as the EIA?

Reefles, point taken. However, what I dont get about the scenario is why its taken so long to get it sold to IMG. It cant be that complex a transaction and as i said its peanuts to the likes of IMG. I guess we'll find out when it happens.

I personally think talk by Ed of an IPO may be him trying to force IMG/Endeavor to make a move and buy leap outright. It just doesnt make sense for a large comp like IMG to allow competitors to get the same/similar access to content they use. And with their budget £50m even 75M is pocket change.

Surely with its ambitious plans, youd think Endeavor would be looking to solidify its ownership of one of its major content providers instead of letting it go to an IPO. Who knows, maybe they've already made an offer and Leap (ably assisted by Ed) are playing hardball. There would be no reason to tell anyone outside of Leap's BoD right?

No surprise really, tiny volumes traded. This will only move on news and currently there isnt any. The AGM was just kicking cans down the road. Last year, Ed talked about big liquidity events in Q1 which to me meant Leap (I assumed wrong), well there werent any "big" events and he did the same on Tue. Its clear Ed and Alfredo dont want to commit their own cash in SEED so why would anyone else, especially not a big investor, which is what we need.

yep not expecting anything but "big news on the horizon" platitudes. Cant say i would be surprised. this is AIM after all; over promise, under deliver. Having said that, Leap (cos for me thats the only thing that matters tomorrow) is a valuable asset, the problem seems to be getting its true value realised.

With EoY fast approaching and the 50m Mcap statement still undelivered, Ed had better have some sock-blowing news tomorrow otherwise this share is toast.

Agree. Covid would appear to have had very little effect on the SL government processes. Yes they are slow and bureaucratic but this delay seems unwarranted so I too have a feeling something else is in play. I just hope Frayne and co have all their bases covered and have greased the relevant wheels.

Being a newbie to early stage mining stocks, what is the normal time lag and milestones between EIA approval and mining licence approval and is a ML approval pretty much automatic once EIA has been approved? The company presentation shows a 6 month lag but is this realistic?

Ed's been on the board of LEAP for 9 months now to assist with a "liquidity event in 2021". I wonder if the LEAP board think they are getting value for money from his work so far. We'll know in 3 months.

I'd pay more attention to what Ed has to say when he spends some of his Emmac winnings on SEED stock.

Takayama, dont get me wrong, I dont have a problem with LEAP, the issue for me is for a company whose stated aim is for "investment in cannabinoid wellness and medical cannabis arenas", having 43% ownership of a gaming company would seem odd to new investors... and we need new investors. Dont you think?

Thats the problem with FFWD/SEED, its always jam tomorrow. Wasnt LEAP news imminent in Q1, then Q2 now YE? Come on its a small company so any sale, if thats what the plan is, will not be complicated so why its taking so long to achieve is beyond me. It would be pocket change for the likes of MGA. Unless of course MGA dont want to own them and are happy to stay partners.
Until we realise the capital of Leap and invest in something with more growth potential, nobody will be interested in SEED

.. or maybe SEED hasnt got a compelling reason to buy its stock. As a LTH, FFWD/SEED has so far delivered very little in terms of shareholder value, its just a money trap.

I'm beginning to wonder if even Leap's disposal will be enough to jolt the sp out of its 8-10p trading range. If even trading at such a NAV discount wont push it higher, what will. What we could do with is some investment from the BoD.

I dont get whats going on with Leap. This is a small company probably worth a max of USD30M. Loose change for the likes of IMG if they really wanted them. The fact it is taking so long to get to the long awaited liquidity event means that either the BoD cant find anyone to buy them or they want too much. But for FFWD we need to get rid of it asap as its stopping us being seen as a CBD play and probably hindering the SP.
Since Ed was brought onto the Leap board to get to their next phase of growth, I wonder if they think they are getting VFM.

Looking back at comments there were some big expectations set/talked up; talk about unicorns and billion $ IPO's. If you bought/held on that you would be disappointed. For me this share is all about Leap and I'd be pleasantly surprised it if made as much as £50m.

GLR, not sure what figure EdMc had in mind when he said "a significant increase in MCap by year end" but even an Mcap of 50m would mean valuing Leap at more than x5 its current value. Or am I missing something.
