Aim you are a trouble maker of the highest order. Many investors have been suggesting to Capita that they should lower their threshold of reporting so there is more evidence of wins. Some of the big contracts they have been winning over the last 3 years will produce revenue in 2026 . The tide is turning here. And given the company have already guided revenue quite a lot I wouldn’t be worried if I were you.

Analysis: There was no massive Budget black hole

Despite all the months of speculation from outside economists and briefings from the Treasury there was ultimately not a massive black hole in the public finances that needed fixing in the Budget.

That is the resounding message from the Resolution Foundation and IFS briefings this morning.

The productivity downgrade (which Team Reeves was very keen to draw eyes to in the run-up) was countered by a huge jump in tax revenues thanks to inflation.

In fact, her fiscal position worsened by just £6bn between the spring and autumn. Yet the Chancellor unveiled £26bn in tax rises yesterday.

It was therefore a Budget that amounted to a tax rise for spending increases and more headroom.

That reality is a useful reminder to treat outside predictions on the size of the black hole weeks before the event with a bucket of salt and be wary of the spin emanating from Number 11 before Budgets.

Marcus isn’t it obvious that Savage wants the worst for capita and it’s long term investors. He revels in drops or bad news. He probably works for one of the Shorters in question which is why he is on here repeatedly whilst he allegedly has no holding. It’s either that or really quite a bizarre obsessive attitude .
