Could say something about the consultation in progress. Likely to get on the radar of big pharma if it isn't already. All small pharma have debt. The question is will they be in a position to attract major investment. Big pharma buy out promising small pharma all the time. Usually at phase 3 trials. This is tried and tested and approved. In the final hurdle to get onto Medicare properly and substantially. It will save the US billions in lost productivity and it will extend lives and quality of lives by averting serious kidney disease. It's worth a few billion not £1hundred million.
The debt is beside the point. The US will keep buying. Might take a hit tonight, might not. Within a few months this could be £1.00.
Once they are included in Medicare coverage the debt will be irrelevant. They can only sell to private sector clients until then. As soon as they're in the mainstream US health system this will take off.
I guess this is about as good as it gets for a micro pharma company. Medicare coverage for the US likely to be approved in a couple of months with FDA approval already in the bag. Big investors will be along soon. They have less than 100 million shares. Maybe explains the volatility with these high volumes. Hopefully it will move more steadily now and discourage the day traders. Could start to really rally hard as we get closer to the deadline for the end of consultation on March 23rd. Rare to get such clear timescales actually though the final decision will happen after that. Looks like they've got the pharmaceutical network on board anyway. I enjoyed watching the videos that you guys shared this morning. Thx for sharing. Appreciated.
Yeah, of course you're right Digger. I assumed that the consultation for LCD coverage for Medicare was FDA related. If they get this they'll get investment won't they? Medicare coverage in the US is about as close to universal coverage as you can get in the US isn't it? 14 million people with kidney conditions will be saving Medicare a bomb by averting more serious long term health issues for most. 14 million x $950 should sort out the debt issues pretty forcefully. They'll be making massive profits.
In reality they'll get bought out by big pharma and the latter will progress a roll out at scale.
I guess it's a waste of time to suggest that you all let it run. This will be worth hundreds of millions if the FDA approve it- it's in process with a formal consultation underway. That will finish in 6 weeks. That's why the US are buying in now. They aren't interested in a relatively small amount of debt. They're interested in people with type 2 diabetes and early stage kidney disease being diagnosed early to prevent serious kidney disease. It will save lives and save billions in very expensive dialysis which is too late to effect real recovery and instead allow people to live long term healthy, productive lives. This could 10 bag and probably will eventually with or without the traders. You are just slowing progress of the sp down. At some point it will take off and leave you behind if you're just day trading. You could look back in 6 months and regret missing a real opportunity to make a lot of money on a life changing investment. Hey ho.
Spiked too fast but at the end of the day they're meeting investors at a pharma conference for a high demand test right now. That's why they were buying in volume in the US. Think it will pick up before the end of the consultation.
I'll say £125 million. 🙂
News on finance is expected within the next 2 weeks. Bit of a game of chicken now with the shorts. With a massive £1.4 billion contract just landing in late December with Hitachi I really doubt that shorters have anything solid. Hitachi will have done their due process before committing at that scale. Just taken another £3k under 29p. Longs will win this battle.
Reckon we should all hold out for 80p? 😄

This publication has an interview with the Stalicla CEO from February 7th 2024. She again commits to taking both STP1 and STP2 into trials this year. Two days ago. Something is afoot. I would vote for a takeover at a reduction from the £165 million milestone I guess. 🙃😄
Who knows what on earth is going on tbh. I am on the go- visiting my mum so no time to get on my PC and share the article. Hopefully you can easily find it.
Not sure that would be the CEO's style. I know business can be duplicitous obvs, but she has a decent reputation. Think they have 3 big trials on and didn't raise enough to do them all simultaneously. Reckon they're trying to defer the payment and EVG not playing ball as is their right. Why would we agree to a cut price sale if we know they want to buy us?
Wish you well too LWHL. Gla.
They updated their website in January 2024.
They didn't raise as much as they wanted though did they?
Directors buying is not proof of anything. They could be accused of insider trading if they buy when they know they have to enter into dispute over a payment which is then swiftly resolved due to taking such action and followed by an announcement of forthcoming phase 2 trials.
Strange that there's more buying now than there's been for some time. Could be a disaster, could be a catalyst to get things done in line with their agreement and trying to assert some control as the junior partner. Not happy obviously. Probably not as unhappy as Staclica investors if this goes pear shaped.
Not brave enough to buy more just now but will dive in if phase 2 trials are confirmed. Blimey.
Yes, I am holding too. Hope to see another RNS next week confirming an arrangement to pay and next steps for phase 2 trials. Otherwise it's over for EVG and probably very bad news indeed for Staclica and their directors could be facing direct challenge in court. Seems too far fetched. Think they are just trying it on for a deferred payment. EVG RNSed that they were very pleased with the trial outcome in August.
Yes DS Flat. If Stalicla pull out now that will impact on the whole legitimacy of their platform DEPI. The updated site, Jan 2024 states that DEPI correctly predicted the response for STP2 candidates based on their assessed data in clinical trials. So if they've changed their mind based on trials DEPI isn't any good/ Stalicla have misled the market in their recent series 16 fundraiser. Very unlikely. Think they might be wanting to move the goal posts on the payment because they didn't raise as much as they wanted but as the website says STP2 will enter trials this year. So still committed. Hope they resolve this quickly. Both firms reputations are on the line. Staclica has much more to lose. The Novartis deal could be compromised and they could face serious consequences if they have misled the market.
I'm adding too if it falls an iota tomorrow. In answer to your question Richard Clements we're expecting news on settling outstanding debts owed to the company and other plans to sort out liquidity, anytime. Results are due in March after that. We already know that they will be very good. Read the December RNS'.
The fT has a story today about the decline of hedge funds. Says investors have pulled £150billion from them this year because they are doing so badly. Not surprising considering the dumb moves they're making.
