Personally I think the rand is a factor, though others have said otherwise.Regarding the mining charter, and I assume here you mean workers rights and entitlements, the last RNS dismisses these as a problem, but as with all these things the market hates uncertainty and until its sorted it isn't sorted. This year is supposedly the year for expansion and we are hopeful this will bring home the bacon. As usual, don't take my word for what are personal opinions. All the best with your investments.

Lets hope so, highest SP to-day for ages! And nice to see someone posting on this board. No actual results due till Sept but do you think if there is an opportunity to provide a positive slant before then that they will take it??

You only have to look at what happened to the Sports Direct SP recently on the back of really really really really really bad news to realise that there is no straight forward way to making money in this game. I don't have shares in IAG but on the morning that went pear shaped after the systems went down the BB read as if shareholders were about to jump out of windows (go check). Now look at that SP!! So who knows???

I think `have a good year ' is probably more appropriate. We now have 3 brokers giving us 150p - 160p. The question, as usual, is how and when will we get there. It'll maybe kick off when we get results from greater production, till then it's lookin' like a case of buy while the price is low.

If anyone makes any money on this board then sincere congratulations to you. What is really unhelpful is squabbling like children over who is right or wrong and if you read, it just ignore it. Does anyone really care...there are more important things in life. Just some useful informed discussion would be really helpful. This share hasn't been going far lately and we can't change that, so just be patient and act on the break out whether up or down.

Interesting that on the date of the article Liberum describe it as difficult to quantify the problem then post a target SP of 190p a couple of weeks later. Can someone plse explain?

Hopefully up but probably down a few pence (again!!). Neither the brokers or the directors have a clue on where this will really head in the short to medium term.

After all the talk about 2018, PDL must ensure next year is a much better one than this year when all the updates have been medium to bad news.
