I agree that it really is time the banks got more ethical, and indeed business as a whole. At least Barc knew it was coming and made contingency. ( JB / Bru must be making zillions in the markets at the moment with Metro Bank having lost 75% until recently, TCG about to roll over and Amazon buying into Deliveroo putting Just Eat at risk. It's a good time to be a shorter.)

MMs keeping us guessing for tomorrow

As a matter of interest did you make a shed load of money shorting Metro Bank?

Not been in this share since last year but kept it on the radar. Not helped by mediocre results / outlook last week with a falling FTSE. It does rather seem that ITV has been `picked` on but it is a difficult time for shares across the board at the moment.

Thanks Italian, I've not been in this share for yonks either but I think you are right. A pull down to 300p or so and there will be profit ahead. We'll wait and see what happens

Morning Bru, yes I always read JBs posts. He is a short trader making money in particular trading patterns, Panth and I are waiting more mid to long term for a £2+ breakthrough which is what you should be doing if you are running the loss you say you are. I am respectful of what JB is doing and, I notice, he is respectful of what others on this board are doing . Each to his own path. So what exactly is your point???? Is it that I haven't posted because the share dropped, well it rose this morning and I haven't posted about that either. Get a grip mate!

Sounds about right Pantherax. We know when PPI comes to an end , alas not Brexit. I don't see why everyone is so nervous about Brexit, any deal will be voted on by MPs and if there is no deal it's `as you were`. I realise businesses are unsure what is going to happen but shares shouldn't really be dropping. I get a bit bored with all these BBs eg ITV, TESCO all saying `if it wasn't for Brexit`...……..The Trump thing is bit of a sideshow, it's business and it will get resolved.

There was nothing bad about the Q1 results but nothing really good was there? Out of interest and Bramson aside, why do you happen to think Staley's strategy is good?

Tesco can continue to wipe the floor with the opposition for now. The markets (or MMs) think this is terrible and the SP takes a hit? Something not right here.
