I'll sell my holding now to anyone who offers 2 quid a share ??????
Binned a couple of nonperformers and put the money into i3, better investment than the previous onea.
Viable, the difference between a 747 and the labour front bench is the 747 stops whining when it gets to an airport....
Instead of looking at the day/ week price, look at the year trend. Inveating is long term, noy a quick hit. Up 100% even more in some cases, thats a great yearly return, bet the banks can't match it....
Your returns are on what you have invested, not the value of that investment. My i3e is at 11%ish atm as I bought a year ago and have topped up on low price days.
Price is a bargain really, if the dividend figure remains at its current level, at 28p is 6.1% annual return.
Nothing wrong with the price 100% from this time last year plus a monthly div that has just been increased..... What's not to like?
GGg will be happy if we get to 24.....
Very happy with this news. I haven't got millions of shares, but at 15.3p average, nets me 11% annual yield. Better than a bank account by far
Expect many sales today as the 2017 share plan scheme matured on 1st May, many who opted to sell will be doing so 1st thing. Me, I'm holding on to mine.
PS the low sp works in my favour as the Buy as you Earn scheme we have set the price every Apr for a 5 year saving plan with share options at the end. Just set up another one and will keep buying under a quid per share.
Nigc..... As Londoner will tell you as well, I drive for Breedons and in the East Mids where we're based, we have been flat out since May2020, both Cemex and Tarmac have closed plant due to (Cemex) being bought up by us, and God knows why Tarmac shut up shop. Plants running load out all day every day and the quarries in the area can't dig stuff fast enough. The only worry is fuel bills as my truck has gone from 180 to 305 quid a time to fill it up.....
Looking at the FTSE 100, 260 and all share, all 3 have around a 0.75% drop so far today, so is the whole market just having a slow/ bad day, I'm still 13 to 16p up per share, as Tony said, "What's not to like?"
Profit takers, people getting out at their sell strategy point, many people doubled their money, the list goes on..... I'm in for the long haul, the way thi gs are going, i3e will get transferres into my ISA which is performing better tgan my pension atm.
Canada at. 44 roughly 27p
Also, not sure how reliable they are, but Simply Wall St have fair value for i3e at 73p..... Anyone had any dealings wil their advice?
You'll be ok, the Motley Fool has placed it as a watch....
They'll both be fine they've just sold a chunk of I3e and retired to live on the dividends.....
Its bexause some PI s have been in a lot longer from single digit purchase prices and want some money out. If youd invested at 5 p and its now sitting at a near 400% gain, what would you do? Most woyld remove their initial stake and leave the profit to gain....
Possible 19 years of production, whata not to like?
