This share price is going to stay stuck until the bankers go back to work, the Cryto hires have been seated and ready to deal, a fanfare about UK Crypto, (wasn't there an article about BTC in the Daily Express) Uni students are back studying with no time to play the markets and the bankers take over. Guess that takes us up to end 3rd quarter when the show gets going. My random thoughts!
For what it is worth I want to add to the mix China military monitoring Taiwan, Biden going cap in hand to OPEC, USA civilians still in Afghanistan and the reaction to the minutes of the Fed meeting. In addition the true state of the USA economy is coming out now. I'm expecting them to reopen the pipeline regardless of court cases.
Diary of an Argo Blockchain Shareholder12 Aug 2021 10:40
Daily tree shake from 11.30 am - 12.30 am knocking out stop losses - seen that Unexplainable drop from 1.20 to 86 p in recent times with solid reporting figures - seen that Fake news from a fake website questioning Argo's integrity - seen that FUD tag team as in the whistle-blowing email posted on this board - seen that Large unexplainable spreads - seen that
So as a LTH just going to weather the slings and more arrows and look forward to Nasdaq during 3rq Quarter which is anytime (Jul - Sep 2021).
My takeaway from yesterday. Those tall tall buildings want your Argo shares badly. With Nasdaq in this third quarter means anytime before end of September I'm expecting more nonsense but hodling firm.
Daily Mail - We've made it in the Daily Mail! - Argo Blockchain profits jump 2,000%9 Aug 2021 21:46
Daily Mail Argo Blockchain profits jump 2,000% thanks to boom in crypto prices
Crypto mining firm Argo Blockchain saw first-half profits skyrocket 2,000 per cent thanks to a boom in the price of digital currencies and an expansion of its operations.
The London-listed company saw pre-tax profits grow from £500,000 in the first half of last year to £10.7million in the past six months, as revenues almost tripled to £31.1million, from £11.1million.
It comes as Argo Blockchain has benefited greatly from the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies seen this year, with its shares rising from just 5p a year ago to a record of around 300p in February.
RE: BOATMAN IS AN ANONYMOUS SHADOWY SHORT SELLER WITH IT'S OWN AGENDA9 Aug 2021 11:05
I just read the report. Very cowardly report with no author/ess or address - save for an email. Any research analyst spending time and money to write so many pages surely would want their name in lights? In essence the report queries price paid for land and was it 160 or 320 acres and machine delivery. My humble opinion. Whoever paid for this report wants the company and/or has taken a hit on share price. Dear Peter, before Tancredi write anything, get Sir Martin Sorrell's advice on how to deal with this. x
(Sir Martin Stuart Sorrell is a British businessman and the founder of WPP plc, the world's largest advertising and PR group, both by revenue and the number of staff. Upon being ousted in April 2018, Sorrell was the longest-serving chief executive of a FTSE 100 company.)
RE: Well that was a poorly written rns9 Aug 2021 10:04
@splattecd. I agree with you. How can you put out an RNS with the figures saying "Error! Reference source not found." Peter, stop with the journalist stuff. Hire a Head of Communications today. If they have to spend all weekend reading the RNS aloud to themselves so be it. Also get a grip on the punctuation too. Thanks!
