BEM have to stop playing the nice guy. Baylan has a political career and calculates appeasing the green lobby works, and it has up to now. The company has to start briefing the media (said this 2 years ago) and target Baylan himself to highlight deceit and dishonesty as well as the hypocrisy of Sweden outsourcing dirty emissions when it could be setting the world an example by clean extracting. If the company has to go down they should destroy the politicians responsible.
A rather embarrassing report from UNESCO, I could have produced that as part of my O'levels. Sloppy control of market sensitive information and more consultation for the sake of talking forever. It is long past time for a more forceful response. A good legal team could destroy this political deceit.
Not before time but we have to wait until Baylan reads it,digests it,turns the paper upside down then decides how to react !
Touched a nerve there aug, perhaps a better term would be centre right, never intended to promote the swivel eyed loony perception. We havent got far with the socialist left method of having massive consultation far and wide with an intent to seek out any obscure citizen who might be mildly offended then complains and we get a juddering stop !
We cant blame Baylan fot all of thus fiasco aug, he was minister for schools until 2019 ! The party is desperate to cling to power and will not upset the green voters. Meanwhile the country stagnates and it is only when there is a right wing government when we get a decision and the rule of law is applied to mining applications.
Would often agree with you aug but I feel the ruling party is in hock to the greens and have put off making a positive decision to stay in power.
On a lighter note
Suzy and Eric went into town,to buy some chips and sweeties.
Now suze cant keep her blood pressure down and Eric has diabetes ??
Not quite Wordsworth but trying ??
Thanks suzy, nothing would please me more than to see this government fall, the dishonesty has been palpable. When zealots like the green party have control economies stagnate.
Rather than put this on Kurt's shoulders the whole mining industry needs to be knocking on the swedish PM's door. Their cowardice facing the green lobby is destroying the industry in Sweden. Fine to cut apparent emissions while outsourcing to less clean production sources elsewhere in the world then ship across the world to feed their energy consumption in Stockholm and cities ! Hypocrites.
Impressed me too ali, a smart move to pay driller team in shares. Saves cash flow but incentivises the team to proceed quickly and aid the main contractor too by helping share price. A win win for all involved to limit negativity withon the crew.
Just a gut feeling for me that Kurt paused further exploration a while back to acknowledge the stagnation in government. He may have timed this check and update knowing some movement is in the offing after Unesco has exhausted any further objections.
If Bitcoin had to be regulated and Stockholm had any say it would still be £15 not £30k subtle ! Politics goes like a pendulum, after a long spell breeding left wing interference we may begin to see a period of right wing free market policies, hopefully in my lifetime.
