However since that report BA has permanently grounded its entire ageing fleet of 747s, it's 20 year old GE powered 777s all it's 767s and oldest s/h narrow bodied Airbus aircraft.
Should significantly reduce BAs carbon footprint.
Add to that the time for BA to reach 2019 flying levels and I'd imagine a hefty drop down any future study into the same.
I don't think anyone doubts this will go north of £2. Myself included. But to my mind, not just yet.
At this time with IAG I'm looking for a trade opportunity rather than an investment. Just a trading style that currently suits me and certainly not for everyone NOR am I recommending it to anyone else.
As I've stated before, I don't suffer FOMO nor, as Dagger says, 'hate' the share when I'm out of it.
So, if I don't get my entry price and the share soars I would be delighted for all holders and especially those locked in with a higher average.
It's not a game, it's calculating and accepting risk with a lot of timing and luck.

I sold my entire IAG holding for 198 on Friday. For a modest profit as my AV was 193.
I don't personally see 185 but maybe a dip to 190.
Plenty of dry powder for another punt but happy to sit on my hands a while.

Or -
The bad news is all the good news is already priced in so anything worse than expected may result in a fall.
I'm just being cheeky by the way. Playing devils advocate :-)
I missed the early doors fun (for those that are out) but have a cheeky limit buy set for 90p until days end. We shall see. Good luck all
A ha! Excellent job Robby. Enjoy some tapas as well before returning to Blighty :-)
Thank you.
It's good to be back in. Obvs if I'd waited a day I'd have a lower price, but that's the market and timing.
Very happy with my average and an only a few pence adrift at today's close. Nothing to worry about.

@justice
'Meanwhile IAG loses about £1B a day'
If this was actually the case IAG would already have folded.
I think you might need to fact check your daily loss figures.
Seems to have steadied around 187.
@Robby
185 certainly possible.
180? Would be top up time for me.
130 - In my dreams. I'd throw the farm at it.
Oh and I see BP sub £3. Good luck of you invest there buddy.
Tullow looking cheap too from recent past gains, but I'm watching that a while longer.
GLA
@Dagger
Thanks mate. Happy you've taken a punt as well.
I've been here all the time but reading rather than posting. I thought for a while this would go sub £2 and noted Robbyw said the same just last week.
I didn't want to be seen as an 'out deramper' by stating the same so just bided my time. I love this share and company, I've made most of my money here.
I don't suffer FOMO so when it hit 220 a couple of times I was happy for all holders but didn't think it was a sustainable price for now.
The SP will go north of £2 without a doubt and stay there a while imo.
The best of luck if you topped up and saw this morning as an opportunity. I certainly did.
Thanks Robbyw
Bring that good Spanish weather home with you.
If it does dip into the mid 180s range I thankfully have enough dry powder to take advantage of that opportunity. But very happy with a fresh clean start of 193.
Good luck all.
Morning all. I've waited a few weeks for sub £2.
Back In at 193
Good to be back.
Stay lucky all.
Your expecting an opening price on Monday 11p above today's close?
I love this stock bit even I wouldn't dream of that.
GLA and enjoy your weekend.
A ha! Sorry, just seen this. Obvious typo.
I meant 207
Fam is well thank you. Hope you have a great weekend.
Blimey. I'm very very flattered to be mentioned so positively. It means a lot. But please don't invest any of your precious money on my musings.
I also transparently quote when I'm out and in. And when in, at what price of sell at.
I'm still out. Very tempted at 206, hard sitting on my thumbs.
GLA
Likewise am out as of yesterday. Small loss compared to many. But with an AV of 31 think it would have been a long wait to get a return.
Shoulders shrugged, time to put my dry powder elsewhere.
Good luck all.
That's a great price. I had a limit buy at 107, missed by a whisker.
Happy for you but I'll still sit on my thumbs for a bit.
GLA
Done the same. Back in this morning. Out at 220
Nice little 'lucky' trade.
GLA
That 45% increase has been lucky for all.
Another Stella day!
