This means in case of 100mln volume (= around iphone volume per year and this goes into far more product...) this means income of 5mln. Time profit over equity of 15 and 300 mln outstanding shares.... value of 0.25$ for 100mln AVX sales... is this a correct calculation ?

5% royalty based on the sales. So how should I read this... For each supercapacitor which avx sells for 1$, cap-xx receives 0.05$ ??

Hi Ken, you are totally right. I'm just trying tp envision the potential on mid and long term. If we get some good revenue news on the short term (where I agree on OS on a big part) this rapid rise might come earlier. By the way conservative while: They mention a price of 1$ for the cheap capacitors, which actually means 0.3$ profitmargin normally. So my 0.1 is very safe. The other thing is the 100 mln pieces. This is pn weekly base 4 million pieces, which is comparable with iphone sales. And privately I have already 5-10 of these batteries in use (for example 4 in my car keys...) and for sure not having 5..10 iphones.... So... sitting back, relax and enjoying the flight :-)

While searching I found a nice older article which made me thinking. The article describes that by means of an e-peas ic and a cap-xx supercap, a solar cell can charge with very dim light. Would this be a way to increase the efficiency of solar modules ? Welshs and Frac, thanks for sharing. St-micro and TI are established high volume players. It�s a matter of time that all kind of products will come into the market which never need battery replacement and murata/avx/cap-xx are crucial part of it. Thinking of remote controls, alarm system sensors, remote car keys, medical like pacemakers, watches, etc etc.. LTH�s have a bright future here.

If so, this might be their expensive lesson about stakeholder management. Btw, I tried to find more about smart credit and id cards. There is a lot technical stuff and prototypes online but I didnt find convincing material regarding standardization and links to cap-xx/ Murata. If anyone has relevant online material which links cap-xx or murata to visa/mastercard, can this please be shared ?

I totally agree on this part of the article: One thing I�d like to point out is that CPX has no debt on its balance sheet, which is rare for a loss-making loss-making, growth company, which usually has a high level of debt relative to its equity. CPX currently operates purely off its shareholder funding and has no debt obligation, reducing concerns around repayments and making it a less risky investment.
