Are we due an update on deeside today?
That pretty much contradicts everything we have been told, the placing was to take us to 27%. Not to have the money in the bank to maybe take us to 27% if we felt like it.
I believe it will happen, it’s more the justification of the placing before the 20% announcement. This was justified by the rhetoric of having to do it to take us straight to 27%. This hasn’t happened therefore I think waiting and doing a placing after the 20% at a much higher price would have benefitted everyone (apart from those in the placing of course)
That passes with no 27% RNS just reinforces to me that the placing could have waited..
That the BOD have royally ****ed this up now? I am sure we will come good but that placing timing was just appalling.
We are in the teens ffs
Yes it is and was, I said this and was shot down. Now it’s happened it’s obvious but this isn’t the line the rampers were towing before the results!!
How are you spinning the fact that less than 50% of existing holders took up there options. The fact the BOD have messed this up so badly that they can’t get shareholders to invest at 20.5p AFTER transformational news is pretty poor in my opinion.
Then again EV you don’t accept anything that happens here as negative do you?
Unsurprising given the price on the open market. I would like the people who:
A. Disagreed when I said it will be a poor take up.
B. Said the placing had to be done so we could go straight to 27%.
To come out now and comment but they will not have different reasoning for why these things happened. I am all for positivity but if you disagree with anything you are told to sell up rather than people engage in back and forth.
Apologies on a postcard please
Not allowed to criticise the BOD for how this has all been handled? We should have had a cracking couple of weeks with the 20% and build up to 27% but here we are.
I have heard many times the 27% is now a done deal, so I am sure you would think that should be now priced in. I really hope I am wrong!
I would more say the amount of people who said they would and the amount of buys currently going through that would say you might be but the majority of people aren’t.
Who have said they were going to take up the offer. Why are you not buying now for cheaper?
We argue, the sell price just dropped to the open offer price of 20.5p. I know people keep saying if you don’t take our shares someone else will but my question is why would you?!
With no 27% RNS. Everyday that passes is weakening the ‘we had to do the placing when we did it’ argument. As we’ve already said it’s a done deal anyway, I don’t think it’ll move us. Although it bloody should!!
The moaning is the placing got the discount at a much higher rate than we are. We get the scraps once the damage is done, this rate at a premium to what you can buy on the open market. You fully understand why people are moaning, we have had transformational news and we as shareholders have seen the value of our holdings decrease. It’s very simple if you choose to look at facts rather than your opinion.
Are you kidding? Just buy now ffs, I feel like people will still be talking about the open offer even when the buy price drops below it. Buy now on the open market rather than dilute the share,, just a thought
Why doesn’t everyone buy on the open market at 20.8p and help actually push the price up?
I also have to ask how long will people wait for the 27% confirmation if that’s how they justify the placing pre 20%? If they can get a placing away that quickly could they not have done one after hours Monday after the 20% news and got a much better price?
The open offer price of 20.5p. I imagine in their heads that they thought Amapa deal would hold the share price higher than it has even with the placing.
This price reaction has even shocked the BOD. We are going to be below the open offer price very soon, that is not going to look good is it? Surely they need to address that in some way otherwise it’s going to be the least subscribed open offer in history!
Is the 27% not guaranteed as well then? Therefore priced in?
How you are managing to spin the into a positive I don’t know. In simplistic terms, we are worse off now than before we officially had a % in Amapa. I believe had the BOD done things differently that wouldn’t be the case.
