Yes, if you have to explain what a recession is to folks then you know you are in "Kindergarten".

If folks think they are already in the eye of the storm of the recession then they don't appreciate what a recession actually is.

Getting back onto the subject of ODX however, let's get it right......the position ODX are currently in is down to the board of directors and has nothing to do with the effects of recession. For those still holding this stock then they have not managed risk very well.

I will repeat ....... ODX is currently 3.4p to sell. Not my opinion but fact.

I will let all the holders and deluded people who are positive about ODX explain why it is at this price and discuss all the positives about ODX.

Property prices went up during the Pandemic Kate.....that is a statistical fact so not my opinion. Property price increase is not a sign of a recession......that is a fact not my opinion.

Many things may contribute to why we get ourselves into a recession....and remember it is a global problem, not solely a UK issue. Pandemic may be one factor, War in Ukraine another, poor economical management by governments another, Stock prices getting far too overpriced, high interest rates, low consumer confidence, a FALL in house prices, etc.

The fact remains that the next recession actually hasn't hit us yet.....we are not in the eye of the storm yet.

No Kate.....during lock down folks were actually saving money. People no longer spent money on going out to restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, sporting events , holidays etc. Money was saved on fuel as people were not travelling as much in their vehicles. Some plowed money into their homes with the money they had naturally saved. Some lost jobs yes, but most folks retained their job.

A lot of extra money was spent by the government during that period which we the tax payer have to bare now.

No...the recession is just getting started.

Well there are plenty of indicators and experienced commentators stating we are now entering a recession. Just look at the price of fuel, heating, food etc.

The thing is with recessions they only sting a bit when they start.......the hurt happens 12 to 24 months down the line when peoples monthly expenditure starts to exceeded their monthly income over a prolonged period!

Yes I agree cash is king in a recession......I will be going to cash at the end of the year and getting rid of all my shares regardless of how they are doing.

I feel the real big bear market will happen next year but that is imo. DYOR.

skinbiotherapy is one of mine yes....along with Melrose (doing nicely) , Carnival (evens), RR (back into this one again), Polymetal (has been very good to me), BooHoo Group(in and out on this one and done very well), I shorted Cineworld in March and made a killing (Cineworld will go into administration in the next year or two) but actually my main drive at the moment is the US stock market indices, more specifically the Russell 2000 index which i have day traded since March on an IG spreadbet platform. It was averaging me around £100 per day but over the past 4 weeks I am now averaging £300 per day).........thanks for asking.

Care to disclose your interests other than ODX (big loss) and the horses (total gamble)?

but more importantly from my perspective......there are a ton of winners which are not on your list which far outweigh the losses that I have had to absorb.

Kate there are a couple of more losers of mine which aren't in your list.

Kate.....if you think betting on horses is the same as investing in companies then there really is no hope for you. Honestly, my advice is give up or please take a different approach.

Kate, what you seem to not understand is you cannot take the higher ground with people who clearly made a better decision than yourself. Don't keep telling people to not be negative as it is not your place or position to do this. ODX is an abortion of a company and you won't gag people on posting these facts purely because you have a holding and are frustrated about the negative comments on this BB.

If you are honest about this you should really be frustrated at yourself and you should just do the honorable thing and have a go at yourself for being in this precarious position.......you shouldn't be having a go at others who are obviously wiser and shrewder than you.

I will be surprised.....but it won't scare me.

I have bailed out of loads of shares which have gone up after I have closed my position...it's to be expected and quite normal. I usually bail out to lock in profits.....ODX was different.....I bailed to prevent further losses. As it turns out (as of today in real time) it was absolutely the correct decision.

ODX 3.4p to sell.

My next post should scare others Kate......but please don't blame me.

My opinion is an institution has sold out and their shares have been getting fed into the market over the past week or two. It's resulted in a big overhang with too much supply and not enough demand which has hit the SP hard.

It will recover once these shares are fully absorbed.

Wow....Very rich coming from someone who contributes absolutely nowt about ODX.

I see Kate is out on patrol again policing the boards and giving folks a piece of her mind.

She is relentless and I don't think she realizes how she comes across.

Nobody is getting mocked....folks are simply commenting about this grim situation that ODX are in. If you are still in this stock and have a holding then yes it is hard to digest.....but please suck it up as it is your own fault that you haven't bailed out of this circus act called ODX.

The only strange thing about this is even Swag didn't take notice of his own moaning/concerns initially and left it too long to bail out.....bit like most of us.

I wish I had acted on those moans from March 2021 Kate don't you?

It would have saved me a hell of a lot of money and as it turns out he was correct to moan as just look what happened.

Well I am not associated with ODX in any way but if I was I would simply lie.......and let's face it it wouldn't be unusual for a member of the ODX board to be a liar.

I have no agenda other than stopping others from losing any more money. I have no position in ODX any more and I am unable to short it otherwise I would.
