yea i noticed that too Smithy... and they have shifted focus which i also found positive and tied in with the H1 update.
Positive signs here.... agree re earlier sentiments... watch this space
If i cant not cover the capital losses?
Have you guys checked the change in the solvency II ratio... i seem to recall someone using the words... boosted to stop reporting of embarrassing profit from COVID.
Completely agree on other points though... for whatever reason this is an unloved share... great divi though... especially at these prices :)
thanks Radius
my guesswork :)
Its possible it may move up to the 1.30 the broker target price pre approval.
I believe that they have a results call at the end of october.
Sort of expecting orders to be announced at this point as if i was a hospital i would have signed on the dotted line subject to FDA approval (not sure of others views here). If this is the case im with Maestro... material increases and i suspect they will land in November
couldnt see it ... does it say anything interesting?
I should imagine that there could be some pretty swift movement on this front, subject to approval.
As i am of the view that there are likely some institutions out there that have been testing the technology with Polx and who are now awaiting the same approval as we are prior to contracts being signed..? be good to get general views on this point...
makes me wonder too. A lot of people say the A380 but the last of those has now rolled off the production line so it feels unlikely to me....
im no expert here but think that it means that the former COO and by the looks of it current NED can buy 2.8m shares at a certain time in the future at a certain price.
kind of like a company share scheme but for a board member. Happy to read a better explanation of course :)
probably as they think it will "support the share price". Id have blown the lot at 2.89 myself but nevremind!
It was i think the last question or certainly one of the last questions on the results update call.
Would there/ would they consider another rights issue to raise funds to deliver further growth? answer was that they wouldnt rule it out.
Interesting response.
But then this new factory is 77000 sq feet. and it has capacity for only a second and potentially a smaller 3rd line (also referenced on the call) Which leads me to the question how much volume/ how many contracts can 1 line fill at what operating %?
Does mean that they may need a further rights issue to buy and fit another bigger (!?!?!) factory when the contract comes in////
2nd time he has done so... good way to increase your position and show confidence in the business
Pretty good update but i would like to see the presentation later to get more of the detail.
Good news on the additional test products being sent to other manufacturers from 82 to 97.
employing the usual sales logic (and assuming no drop outs) 8 NDA's and tests will be 12 months nearer to decisions.
As Munch says these are potentially large contracts with 10 year implications for the manufacturer in my view... so i suspect it will take time to get over the line (even more so than the contract i am used to. Saw 1 that we were at 99% certainty with for over 8 months before finally landing it!)
throw in the tech element and its still a case of patience for me... even if it is a bit frustrating; but i do feel that the years extension of the Arrival contract is a good lead indicator to their view of the technology. and as a start up it is much easier for them to make these decisions to incorporate into their manufacturing process than legacy manufacturers who need to think about legacy architecture and how they transition towards their new model. It just takes more time and in financial services is often the largest risk to the incumbent/ start up relationship.
i think that they designed the tests in conjunction with the FDA and the fact that Xenon gas has already been passed by the FDA in other approvals and well as the fact that lots of the top research institutions are now using this tech for their studies definitely provides a strong tail wind.
But as you say tone... nothing is certain....
