That to me suggests that they are looking well beyond China 2022 on will bring multiple markets into play.

As for funding I think that we need to trigger those warrants. However if they are not triggered then the world has ended and 5G will be dead.
We'll see people looking for well positioned 5G enablers and they don't come better positioned or cheaper than Ethernity networks.

The TietoEVRY update is the star for me. I know they have global reach but I expected them to lead the European market in due course.
It appears that Ethernity are getting many fingers in many pies. It is very possible that Ethernity products will be competing head to head for business in different guises.

Two strategic partners, I very much like that. TietoEVRY are huge and playing nicely with Ethernity.
I think that don't care if the market likes it or not. The figures suck and the headlines will be about reduction in revenue but it is all irrelevant. The focus now is share price up and trigger warrants. After that we are home and dry.

Looks like huge progress made with the network. Next is to connect users on mass. The Telecom has worked together to create the base stations now they will compete for users. Tier one is the Peer to peer connection so managing the flow into and out of this network. So Integrators are putting forward solutions to the Telecom for this in a open environment. That is the best solution for each function. Interoperability will be the challenge I am sure. This is why ASICs won't be part of the solution. Clearly the Telcos haven't just built this without knowing that it is possible. They are already connected and achieving speeds. The problems start when volume is added and a base station is dealing with 10000 connections simultaneously. The base station cores capacity will fill very rapidly.

Bid I don't think that will be the case. The integrators have already adopted it and are in deep testing with the Telecom now. Ethernity won't be selling anything. Their contact with the operators is simply around informing about the product. It will be integrators that win contracts. I believe that the bulk of integrators will have the ACEnic-100 at the core of their solution in one form or another. The ACEnic-100 will be supplied to the integrators and they will sell their solutions including Ethernity kit.
Fiberhome will supply some if their solutions with Ethernity inside. Techtronics will supply integrators. This is tier one we are talking about here.
OEM vendors have been squeezed as open networks shun ASICs for on the fly solutions. Vendors will respond by doing the same but I believe that they will be held back because they cannot step away from the idea of vendor lock in.
So Telecom want to connect to the 5G. They need to be able to flow data super quick and super broad for the minimum cost. Integrators are competing to deliver this. Now we know that they can deliver day one speed and scale up on a pay as you go basis. We are talking planned economic upgrades in capacity. This will be super attractive to the integrators and they cannot compete with any other UPF. Yes they will all tinker with the detail but the fpga will be the ACEnic-100 in many cases.

It will be interesting to see if the news today on the website and linked on twitter gets widespread exposure. It will be interesting to see if others follow with this approach. The bulk of the competition and really there isn't that much have taken a different approach offering a couple of different specs but no real suggestion of interchangeable capacity. The Ethernity approach is to give everything required to make the product as flexible as possible. Integrators will like that, once on board they won't look elsewhere.
Numbers are still very hard to call and it is possible that now scalable fabric can be deployed and added to later and redeployed in response to traffic. The competition has gone for the small medium or large approach. It is also worth noting that maybe two or three others do large like Ethernity do now. However that will require big upfront investment when they don't have the volume to justify. With Ethernity they can adjust and buy additional performance to match their revenue stream. This is so smart.

Funding will be more than adequate when the share price hits 30p for 5 consecutive days. Crazy that hasn't happened yet. Crazy that it ever went so low.

I can't see why any integrators would go for another NIC given the spec and cost of the ACEnic-100. The flexibility of applications means that one family of devices fill multiple roles which is good for the integrator as they can work with standard APIs without thought knowing that the fpga based NIC will fit seamlessly.
Todays revelation about a UPF up to 200 is the natural progression and we have discussed it here several months ago. In fact David has said before that it was under development.
The reality is like the client who took a undisclosed amount of ACEnic-40 cards that size is important for cost and space but not everyone will want big. Ethernity has a range of solutions and we can expect smaller capacity in some environments.
