the treatment is already in use for DM and renal graft patient, they only need to approve it for this particular use is ( in diabetic patients with Covid ), so there is a HIGH chance of approval, much higher than any brand new drug which has not been tested before.

sorry Topprize, just a little correction, the study is intended to be completed in Dec. 150 patient in a multicentre trial =15 hospital so far is more than likely to finish before this date and i expect the report straight away as all other trials have been paused to allow this trial to be fast tracked

hmm, a word from a person in the field, most of the staff r not willing to take the vaccine but ALL of the admitted patients with diabetes will be happy to take the treatment
