Lancashire_Lad,
My thought process is thus: If there has been an offer for the company/assets and for whatever reason that is delayed, or the the BOD do not want to recommend it in it's current format/value, then being suspended prevents the huge sell off that I imagine would happen on lifting of suspension. Such a sell off would damage the SP and make a low ball offer more likely to succeed.
I may be entirely wrong in my thinking as I am no expert in these matters but it makes some sense as I mull it over.
I have no concrete information on what is happening in the background just like everyone else. I choose to think that my reasoning for investing remains valid until/unless I am given evidence to the contrary.
To sum up, I remain confident in a positive outcome because nothing has changed for me. A suspension was always going to happen, the length of the suspension is pretty immaterial to me as I did not invest more than I can afford to lose and I understand the risk involved in investing in the stockmarket.
Health, Happiness and Wealth in that order.
