With Burford these were booked sells that were cancelled prior to completion to give the impression there were lots of big sells queued up and thus drive the price down. Completed sells here were just that - sells.

People are clamouring for news and updates after what appears a disappointing result from 16az. Personally I trust the drillers to know what they're doing and like everything it's not an exact science so there will be hurdles along the way. I for one don't do my dirty washing in public and I understand the BOD doing likewise.
I'm showing a loss here as I think lots of us are but no one promised a short term gain.
Happy to wait for some good news when they're ready and able to provide it.
I am also learning to differentiate between those looking for a fast buck and the LTH, there's room for both and everyone is entitled to their own investment strategy.

Am I understanding this correctly? I am being offered 2 shares for every 45 that I hold that I can purchase by 18th August for £1.06 when the current SP is lower than that?

Patience is what is required here, I should think sellers are looking to pick up some cheap stocks elsewhere in amongst the chaos.
I'm at the stage where I'm less expectant when I switch on the computer and it's easier to take the disappointment of showing slight loss...

V111JAS, I live down here in the Borders nowadays mostly but also in Edinburgh depending on work.
I'm a city boy but absolutely love the Borders, stunning, friendly, (cheap, but don't tell anyone!) and much more cultured than I'd realised. Our beautiful city is awash with tourists and is the most vibrant place imaginable. The income that must generate for the city coffers should see the infrastructure to match but sadly the roads are a mess and the half finished tram is slightly embarrassing.
Just like this company all will come good in the end and I'll be cycling around on flat roads with a large smile!

Jiddy - sorry to hear your sad news and that of others. Some of us survive (thanks to the NHS) and get another chance at doing things differently/better.

I bought in here not for my benefit but for my kid's, probably just as well. 17p would see me to a little profit and I still have faith that the BOD can make this work in September. There are some other places for my money to be right now but if we stay down here I'll be topping up as much as I can.

I'm showing a slight tinge of red today after what I consider a rather good RNS (yes, a T1 partner announcement would have been better) almost twice the number of buys as sells, I can't ever seem to work out where the SP is meant to be!

I will be taking up the little allocation available to me. Excuse my ignorance but how does it actually work?
Do I have to write to someone or is there a simple mechanism I'm just unaware of?

10 times as many sells as buys this morning. Is this people with itchy feet just not willing to wait to realise the potential here?

I'm wishing I had some more cash to buy more at this price.

I drove a Mazda once, wasn't going to take her home to meet my parents but, oh what a ride!

I sold my holding a couple of weeks back at 231 at a small loss to put the money in a better opportunity. Got back in here earlier at 205 and am confident we'll see 231 again before long. RBS are profitable, bad news is coming to an end and Boris will bring home some sort of deal from the EU...I hope.
