There is no conspiracy, mother nature has done her thing and a new virus has jumped into the human species. We have yet to see the worst of it and idiots who flout the rules put in place to protect the rest of us deserve to feel the full weight of the law.

I've been meaning to ask, did you ever live in Chiswick? Reason I ask is that the smartest man I reckon I've met (20 odd years ago) was a fine Irishman (friend of a friend) who lived in Chiswick and did some work with satellite images before they were a thing.

I'm not mentioning names to protect anonymity...

If the story of your friend suffering a catastrophe because of their investments then I am sorry for them but that is tempered by the knowledge that everyone who invests does so knowing the risk involved and they should be prepared to lose everything.

Your bashing here (and apparently elsewhere) is tiresome and a little pathetic, no way to honour the memory of your friend.

I'm not quick to filter people as I take on board all information I can glean but you are offering nothing of value.

I wish you and yours the very best of health and happiness and hope you can move on.

I'm reading a strong footing, fundamentals on track and a huge bank balance.

Lots of people are going to be spending more time in bed and have cash to buy a new super comfortable mattress, the advertising campaign will be keeping Eve in the public eye.
