Are Rene expecting us to take a punt on this new deal ? Would hope rushing it out with no money attached or a name was done for a reason ?!!

just goes to show how vulnerable we are when "they" decide to drag the price down.

if results are not pretty good/very good this will get massacred based on todays action (of course it shouldnt but nothing is normal these days is it)

Did my own similar figures last night, though think £3 is a bit high, but as things stand £2 - £2.20 are certainly in sight.

Things i disagree on are the yield at 4.3% being benchmark and think you can adjust a few other things in expected scenario.

all well and good, but that previous rns has really taken the wind out of rene's sails!

this company seems to be in a funny place at the moment, sort of a sp limbo....more trials next year, it just goes on and on.

the only thing that will really excite anything will be new deals

and there is virtually 0 chance he will be around to see this through to any sort of production, so not sure what he or the next person will do regarding his 33%

disagree, its raced away before and retraced, it was hardly that high, and being a tightly held stock and all that.

and anyway, everyone knew there was a conference coming up.

I personally think the board thought it would be far better received than it was.

sadly, they were wrong and maybe thats why they didnt feel the need to add flesh to the bones.

Rosewall, are you Olav or MH by any chance? sort of thing i would expect them to say.

and the bottom line is, olav needs our money, will continue to need our money, so he better get with the program and show a far better approach.

still got that comment from a few years back in the back of my mind, along the lines of not doing this to make investors money etc.

they have also had numerous grants so time to put up or shut up.

incomptetence indeed.....

have a couple of points:

1. if the 2 surgery incidents can be explained away, thats one thing. I wasnt aware of the procedure (detach retina and then reattach), but if i was in the eye surgery game, I would have certainly outlined that this is a potential problem with eye operations, and as i said before, i dont think corrective laser eye surgery is 100% safe. I think not only did we get carried away with first 3 patients, but rene have as well! The mkt doesnt like surprises and almost certainly doesnt know the science that well, so reneuron should be flagging these things up.

2. If, and you may be right, that these results prove to turn out to good, and the surgery issues explained away, i still have that lingering doubt about the lone patient that had a drop in number of letters at month 9. MH has said that stem cells are supposed to be a one off deal, so this needs explaining.

and if they dont have the answers now, dont issue an vague rns.

also we have potential fund raising unless new partners come through, and woodford hanging over us.

oh and these new employees hired for new deals.....hmmmmm they better get a move on.

would prefer if olav wasnt running the show as well, he seems to utter some starnge things.

all in all this could have been managed a lot better (deals, fund raising, rns announcements, general mkt information)

as moose the boxer says repeatedly, "better score, better deals", well the scores seem ok....so ????

directors bought at around £2.40-£2.50, so will be interesting if the come out and buy some more, think this is required to clear the smoke from the room a bit.

the problem is, this is such a ridiculously long journey, with money tied up, keeping faith is really hard, especially when fed crap rns's

i think tavernham mentioned woodford selling, well that would be extremely wishful thinking, and hope it is the case.

will be interesting to see what fosun do, is their contract that binding? can they opt out at slightly poorer results ?

also, and no one has responded to this yet, does this latest rns qualify as "olav telling the mkt if results were bad" which i thought was an absolutely ridiculous thing for a ceo to say, because people trust him on it, trade on it etc.

And what exactly constitutes "bad", or "not working" ?

if, as he has now said, that the higher baseline results were expected to be lower, why wasnt that a lot clearer in the rns?

With an up and coming presentation, this could have been managed a lot better, with say an initial announcement that results will be delivered pre conference on x date, and in meantime set out expectations that with higher baseline we are expecting this etc.....

totally amateur, and still amazes me how some of these people actually get these well paid jobs, they couldnt make a cup of tea half of them.

what i also dont understand is the current price level, it doesnt say success or failure for me, which is really unusual for rene and other shares doing trials.

based on rene's history it should be one way or the other, either > £3 then a subsequent aim pullback or <£2 on trial failure (and prob < £1).

so what this £2.14 is i dont know.....people just pulling a few 000 out because no one has the slightest clue ??

and why a whole 10 days before the conference? doesnt make sense, they can in theory issue one at any real milestone because of the nature of the incoming information.

olav should go he just doesnt seem to get it.
