totally agree Tiger, have the same feeling regarding mkts.

Think they will revisit initial covid volatility and thereafter prob get worse, as they have had 1 go at defeating it, second time around should be easier, as they have learnt a few lessons, but in other ways harder as will the people stand for it (a second set of measures i mean) ??

how many companies during these times have as many ridiculously good options as sylvania ??

even if its 5p a share, at todays prices that would be 10%, which should fairly lift in nearer £1, based on 5% being still above average.

what i dont want is a dividend plus buy back in same announcement, whereby they keep buying even when it jumps.

if they are doing buybacks, do a one off buy now and then move to a div policy

would also prefer the div policy to be a % of free cash flow, not a fixed amount.

see centamin for how this is done, it works really well

hope they pop over to egypt and ask centamin what a good dividend policy looks and feels like

then this would start with a 7

hopefully this will stretch to 47p fairly soon and then form a nice head and shoulders pattern around there, then get back rightfully to the 50p+ area

Well the 42p 200 day moving average guy on here must be happy

current prices are 43.3 to buy, 42.77 to sell for 1 share

the problem is stoodio, is that these 44p prints are just the small token share trades at the top of the ask 9and conversely, this happened on way down, at lowest bid)

Now, what is the purpose? because real trades are going in under 44, so one theory i have which might be complete nonsense, is on way up they want to "reaffirm" a high price to make it look like (and is) going up.

same on way down, reaffirm the down trend with lowest bid prints.
