Bot - True they are speculating inflation will drop already so you may be right for Thursday, I suspect 50 base points of which are probably already built in here is the likely outcome in 2024. We will see !

In fact Q3 are due in September and if the Fed proves to cut rates also around September the timings could be perfect for a good rise.

I think once the Fed lowers rates (if they do) and oil has gone down today this might move north but cant see any major factors lifting this in the near future, Hope I am wrong and it does move north

Bot - I’m not sure what to say in terms of reasons I have my conclusions but can’t work it out , that’s a hell of a difference given the size if CCL , we did say a while ago this seems the new norm with CCL , I’ve said it before if Q3 are as good as recent results I think then this will have some legs.
