EVE Energy Co Ltd is set to build the biggest gigafactory in the UK, The Sunday Times reported.

The Guangdong, China-based electric vehicle batteries producer counts BMW AG among its customers and is the world's largest manufacturer of "Tesla-like" cylindrical car batteries.

The planned factory on the outskirts of Coventry will initially see a GBP1.2 billion investment from EVE Energy for an initial 20 gigawatt capacity, with that set to expand to 60 gigawatt in following phases.

Wonder if the one is going to be as big as the one planned for Bridgewater in Somerset. Either way a possible future offtaker

Just listened again to the Director’s Talk interview with head of US sales team. With the venues and trend opportunities coming in thick and fast I feel we are going to be very pleasantly surprised at the sales figures. The US market alone is massive and it’s going very well indeed.

Hi who knows why, I agree that this mornings trade is a sell. No worries at all as the general trend is for an increased SP. When you look at the RNS from yesterday, this really is good news. Recyclus bid for and won a contract with a big SST (shared sustainable transport ) company who is established and going places. Over the next 10 years I see these facilities booming in our ever congested cities and towns as a low cost transport solution. This will in time become a core source of revenue for TM1/RG1 from gate fees and 2nd income materials
