Hi pal, I have just bought some Lloyds, after the PPI Car thing was settled, analysts forecast a return to £1, which will be a return of around 20% from here and pay a divvy.

Hi Newtrader, I know it may seem RR has flown bye, but think of it like this, look at the possible % gain.

If RR could make another 10% for e.g. then its worth it, plus pay a dividend, brilliant. Especially if you have them in an ISA etc.

Like NVIDIA i bought at the top $164, but they have gone on to make another 10%, and thats what I took 10%, small gains etc.

Ocado are trundling along nicely as well after an upturn in contracts being earned

Hi all, I come in peace with a genuine question

Have we reached a point now, where there is no surprises in the results and the SP will bob along swinging 20p either way until major news breaks again?

Or are the results such a closely guarded secret that the SP will react on the opening day? And no one knows ahead of the results

Hey BpX, you are quite right with your strategy, older you get, reduce the risk. Also the higher the SP goes, the higher the % rise required to mimic earlier lower SP gains, you have made good money, no one would blame you for withdrawing now. Even though NVIDIA is in a similiar position, I bought some of these few weeks ago, I think they could hit $190 + in the next 3-4 months. Its a minefield where to put the cash otherwise, could so easily wipe out yrs of hard earning gains. Also LLoyds & Nat West are finding new backers on the Buy/Sell predictions. Each to there own and good luck
