Apollon Formularies plc (AQSE: APOL, "Apollon"   or the "Company"), a UK-based international pharmaceutical company trading on the Aquis Stock Exchange, is pleased to announce that Dr. Stephen Barnhill, Chairman and CEO of Apollon, is an invited keynote speaker at the Cannabis Science Conference ("CSC"), being held in Baltimore on 14-16 September 2022. Dr. Barnhill will deliver a presentation on the "Unique Combination of Cannabis and Mushrooms for the Treatment of Cancer" at 3:40 pm EDT/20:40 pm BST on 15 September.

CSC is the world's largest and fastest growing cannabis science event with a specialised focus on medical cannabis, analytical science, cultivation science, psychedelic science, hemp, and CBD. Selling it? After all their expenditure Eastman will be selling Cedroz into a much larger market than Mevalone.

In only the second year from launch Eden sold £1.6million of Mevalone into the much smaller market of botryticides in a smaller geographic area.

"Cedroz is an innovative new post-planting, terpene-based nematicide for the control of root-knot nematodes in fruit and vegetables. The product is a copy of a natural plant defense mechanism and hence nature identical. The two active compounds, thymol and geraniol, together have a synergistic mode of action that increases their efficacy in treated soil. Cedroz shows effective performance against root-knot nematodes, resulting in high-quality products and high yields."

As the RNS says, Malta is acting as the regulatory body on behalf of the other Member States. This is huge news as it will lead to approvals in Spain, Italy, France etc which are large markets.

"Following the authorisation by Malta, the concerned Member States ("cMS") must grant their individual approvals for the sale and use of Cedroz within their jurisdictions. The pending approvals will cover Spain and Italy, for outdoor uses and will also cover France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as well as Spain and Italy, for professional greenhouse uses."

(There is rumour on ADVFN that Eden Research are speaking with Yara. That will not be the case as nitrates are water soluble and Eden Research do not encapsulate water soluble materials.)
