Here's an interview with Stroll on this topic(EV) and on F1: https://youtu.be/qlm9d2UV8QY
very good content right here: https://youtu.be/JqmETCZg5CE
I don't get the panic around £15 for some people here. He didn't say it will hit £15, but if it does, that would be an amazing buying opportunity for him.
Have to wait and see where this goes the rest of the week. Eventually it will go up given the news, etc, Just need patience.
At least it doesn't seem to spike as much as before so that's something I think...
WallStreetBets on reddit would definitely be of help here but I reckon you need to know some of the more influenctial ones on there to get some results.
Also, Stroll is no spring chicken so I do think/hope he's already on it if that is the case...
Yeah I saw that and thought it was interesting. It would be great but not sure whether Hamilton would leave Merc. Hard to say at this point but glad they're at least considering it.
Here's another article on the same topic:

@Gordon - By the same token you can also say the company nearly went bust so many times in the past, and yet that hadn't stopped you from buying in(and I don't mean to be flippant). What I'm trying to say is that the SP is not just about the financial results themselves as clearly nobody was expecting a stellar year or even a profitable one for that matter. The point is that these results are showing some green shoots that the company is now in good hands. This coupled with a huge brand equity, guaranteed advertising in F1 this year and the track record of the new owner make for a very promising outlook. The price is still too low imo and I expect it to go even higher tomorrow.
So glad I had the restraint throughout all the bad times. Congrats everyone ! Remember this moment next time you read comments from various trolls on here!
Previous peak this month was 2273 if I'm hoping it will beat that today/tomorrow. Payday for most people tomorrow as well so we might even see it break 2300?
Good luck all!
I think the FY results will be better than expected and thus a rise might be coming soon. The price will change in accordance to reality vs expectation not based on the actual results themselves. I think nobody is expecting a stellar year in 2020 for most companies so if they did better than the expectation we should see a rise. This might be possible as Stroll clearly indicated that China was doing extremely well.
I think this will be more about how the results will compare to expectations. Clearly the expectation from the Market is not great given pandemic, etc. Based on Stroll's comments on China we could see the results outperform expectation(but that's just a guess on my part). I think this would influence the price far more than the numbers themselves.
Could see this going past £22/23 next week. I think £30 is unrealistic but I do hope we could get comfortable used to seeing low 20s.
Remember the UK Get Out of Lockdown plan is due to be announced in mid February and then AML FY 2020 results on are coming on 25th Feb. Could be a great month for AML.
A lot of positive news around vaccines recently. Novavax in the UK a couple of days ago & J&J just announced their one-jab vaccine is 66% effective. Don't think this impacts AML directly but could provide a solid foundation for new investors to come onto the scene in a less risky environment.
