i bought £200k of physical gold in 2017, bars up to 1kg. stored it in a house safe but got jittery so moved it to vaults. sold two thirds for £350k or so to buy houses. one third left. problem with the vault company is that the insurance is pretty much the same cost as holding at home. what’s the ******* point of a vault then?
