My take on it is 7 hrs of use. It kills the virus within 5 mins (I think). So if you use it for 1 hr in the supermarket, take it off and store it in the envelope, you have about 6 hrs of effective use left. Unless someone thinks differently.
AIM is just a casino. As pi's we are at the mercy of the unscrupulous directors (as seen here), the market makers (as seen here), and anyone else who can put their oar in. Many honest folk have got burned in this casino (me included). I don't think anyone has any real idea what's going on. All those who say it's going to be ok, MM's playing games, they want your shares etc etc don't have any more idea than me or anyone else. I am just hoping I can get my money back and then I am out of this circus for good.
That's what should happen HeresHopin. I hope, just for once, it does!!
I wonder how many of us thought, having read the RNS this morning, would have predicted a 10% drop in the sp by the close. With the exception of the odd little snippet, it was the RNS that gave us a lot of the positive news we were looking for. We are not the finished article but we seem to be on our way. I know AIM is a ruthless casino and nothing should surprise me after so many in AIM, but what little confidence I had has taken another serious dent. The latest in a long list. I will continue to hold because I hope this will come good in the end. I live in hope rather than expectation because I believe what should happen rarely does. If there is ever a time in the future when I eventually break even I will take my money out never to return. It may well provide some with excitement and profit but unfortunately it hasn't worked for me. A lesson learned. It used to give me a buzz but not any more. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Good luck to us all.
I'm surprised it's taking so long to go up.
Thanks sadoldgit. It is good to hear they are reusable. It would be expensive for a pensioner to have to use a new one every day!
Just placed order. This may sound like a stupid question but presumably the 7 hour time factor means 7 hours worth of wearing. So you could wear the mast for an hour per day for 7 days as opposed to putting the mask on and wearing or not you have 7 hrs from that moment only? Does that make sense. Apologies if I sound thick!
I thought he looked tired and a bit down in the dumps. He has a lot of skin in this and the pressure to get on top of things is bound to be taking its toll. We seem to be going in the right direction but much more patience needed.
To be honest, everything of any importance or validity has been thoroughly discussed here by some very well informed and intelligent posters. If you have been following the discussion then you will have all the answers you need in order to decide what strategy you want to employ. If you are new to this board then I respectfully urge you to go through this discussion board, look at the website, look at the RNS's, examine the backgrounds and the integrity of the directors, examine the importance of the acceptance onto the Activ2 programme in the US and come to your own conclusions. There is wealth of information available at the touch of a button. If you can't be bothered to spend a few hours doing this don't be surprised if you get short shrift if you expect answers to questions that you could find out very easily with just a bit of research. In my view this is an extremely significant therapy/treatment that deserves thorough investigation. You will then be able to decide what you do - buy, sell or hold. Good luck.
Obviously folk are interested in the efficacy of our treatment (and morally it should be the first consideration). However, I go back to the idea that this treatment (given it works!) will be extremely valuable to large pharmacos. How much are they prepared to pay for a partnership deal or a licencing deal or a complete takeover deal? We do not have many shares in issue. £15 per share equates to £3b which seems cheap to me. I think we could be looking at £10b minimum which would give a share price of £50! However, would RM let this go for £10b when profits will potentially be hundreds of billions over the years to come? We could speculate all day and some of you will think I am just ramping or talking rubbish. That is not the intention. I just think this treatment has the potential to be something really special and will successfully treat millions in the next few years. We must first get the data to prove its worth and then simply watch the fun as RM negotiates. Fingers crossed. We have some exciting weeks to come.
I got into this share in the late Autumn having listened to Gareth Cave and thought this was a no brainer. I can't quite make him out to be honest. I don't think he is part of the shenanigans but who knows? I must admit that the sequence of events have been quite shocking and a clear example of how the ordinary pi is regularly shafted. I started investing in AIM about 10 years ago with 25k. I have about 9k left of that original amount. I have done my very best to invest in what appear to be good solid companies. I did my due diligence and yet I always seem to end up losing. This should be a good investment but looks like it is another bad decision by me. I am holding in the hope that there will be a turn around. It is still possible. I don't want to make this sound like 'oh woe is me story' because despite losing around 16k over the years it has been a very interesting (if expensive) experience. I keep reading from some people that there are loads of opportunities out there to recoup losses and some folk are claiming to have multi bagged this share or that share. Well, I have yet to hit the jackpot and whilst I am licking my wounds I am wondering if there are many like me who have either been crap investors or just unlucky.
It is perfectly possible, in my view, that at some point in the future interferon tests will be commonplace. If you are shown to be depleted in interferons a subscription for a 5 or 10 day course could be given to 'top up' your levels. The number of patients admitted to hospital with respiratory viral infections would plummet. In most people the virus would be defeated well before it has a chance to do any damage. The potential is off the scale.
I'm just trying to put myself into the shoes of big pharma. Let's say, for the sake of argument, our trials are a success and there is evidence that long covid is also significantly reduced. Let's say our claims that we have a very effective broad spectrum anti viral therapy that works for all covid mutations. (This is indeed the claim and the belief of both RM and SSH). I am a very large pharma who has watched this development with great interest? I want this to be ours because I will be making huge profits for many years to come. I have a number of options but most of all I do not want to be the company that misses out this success story. Should I be worried that my competitors also want to be part of this? How much will it cost me to get a piece of the action? I don't know how big business works but in trying to put myself in big pharma's shoes I realise what a dilemma they have. From our point of view, if our treatment is a good as we think it is, we hold all the cards. This could be a very interesting few months and I am not sure we will have to wait very long. RM knows precisely what this is worth and I think he is licking his lips. If big pharma hesitate then they lose. All imo of course. I am just beginning to get a few tingles.
What to do. Sell or hold. I'm holding on the basis that I believe the company will eventually be producing their masks and this will finally be reflected in the share price. Many have said that no positive news will come out before the issue with the warrants is finalised. I now agree with that sentiment and I believe things will start to move next week. I absolutely hate the way shareholders have been misled over the last few months and it is nothing short of a disgrace. Dr. Cave has not covered himself in glory over this either. However this is the AIM and it is a good example of how the unscrupulous can take advantage of ordinary pi's. It is yet another warning to the inexperienced that there is no such thing as easy money. We all just want this to be sorted once and for all and for the masks to be 'out there' saving lives. I understand that people are angry and frustrated but I am confident that if you hold on to your shares you will be glad you did within the next couple of weeks. Anger and frustration can make for bad decisions. Good luck to us all.
I think the gov. are afraid that because as our treatment 'works' and 'is safe', many people will choose not to be vaccinated but to inhale SNG001 instead. If that happens, it will pose a real problem and expose the casual indifference the gov. has displayed for the lives of its citizens. They are in a 'bit of a pickle' aren't they? I have to say deservedly so.
