Be a few trying to trade this early doors, problem being once the tickets have gone they are a nightmare to get back. Can see this running all the way up to 0.2 over the coming week, re-rate in full swing. Exciting times for the company and its holders.
I day trade but also keep a long position holding. I can tell you that 80% of my annual profit comes from long positions, the day trading is far more volatile. I have sold my day traders in here today which I bought on monday for a very nice gain but will be retaining my long position holding as this is massively undervalued and I expect a very healthy return over the coming years. De-risking is key to smaller PI's hence the slight retrace from today's highs, but for every seller there is a buyer and new levels of support form. It's looking very good here but the true winners will be the long term holders imo.
The Gladstone short reminds me of being in quick sand up to your waist. You know not to move and stay perfectly still, hoping somebody or something will come and help you out. But you begin to panic and pull your feet about trying to save yourself. Before you know it you are up to your neck and all hope is lost. RIP Gladstone.
Any thoughts on the week ahead?
My personal view was we had a ii selling off on friday as the current volatility and accusations have pushed this out of their low risk strategy window. I also think a lot of traders and smaller pi's exited too watching the downtrend and were nervous of further reporting and mud slinging over the weekend.
My opinion is the week ahead should be good. It will remain volatile as it's an amazing opportunity for day traders to take in profit and smaller PI's to capitalize and build a position which will see them reap dividends and price growth for many years to come.
Nothing reported this weekend has cast any further doubt and indeed the investigation into market manipulation I view as a good thing. It reinforces the veiw that BUR have nothing to hide and this is incredibly undervalued. I also suspect BUR have used te weekend to progress further strategies to increase transparency and reinstate true value and sentiment back into the market.
Have a great week folks.

Personally think this will push hard now to the 1100's, suspect the news reports over tonight and through the weekend will really push this. This RNS is what the market wanted, not director buys. More transparency and a dual listing. It's certainly going to break 1000 by 10am on monday. The news of a US listing will hit the yank papers and bring with it a ridiculous amount of wealthy new PI's into play.
I never trade the entire holding as I wouldnt want a breakout to jeopardize my long term holding. I always keep x amount of k in my account liquid for buying on big shakes and dips. The director and big investor buys seem to happen toward 2pm onward. If the share opens up I sell when it reaches 6% up or buy when it hits 6-8% when opening down. I then close out my new position when it hits a stable higher point and reinvest the rest the next day on the intraday low. The key for me is I retain a 5 figure holding for mid term growth as I think this is oversold and way off its level.
I just think it's a discussion between bear investors who either got in low or held their nerve V's people who lost massively on the attack or bottled it and made a paper loss a real loss and need a lower entry to get back level. I would never of been invested here if the attack never happened, but I am and see no reason for a climb back toward the 1500 mark. Both sides have stated their case and I'm happy the Bur response is correct. Regardless of volatility it's as close to a sure thing as you get on aim. Doesnt mean I wont grow my position by 10% a day trading, after all, we all invest to make money.
Close was 760p on the 8th so suspect they hoped for a further fall. Unfortunately the MW tweets stinking of childishness, their exit from a reportable short position and the Bur response and director buys have left them somewhat holding the baby, I suspect they will exit very quickly as sub £10 it's a suicidal move.
