Hi guys. I saw some speculation regarding an RTO of Cap Energy in to MORE. It took my interest as I am invested in Cap Energy from my investment in Mineral and Finance (MAFL). Cap Energy is MAFL's largest investment in their investment portfolio. Cap Energy is a very exciting project indeed. It is also interesting that Alastair Ford (MAFL Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director) "has given notice of his intention to leave the Company to pursue other interests." That was Friday 29th of December. I'm not saying he is coming on to our board to work with a Groak and pursue Cap Energy but the timing of his departure from Mafl did seem strange to me. I emailed Martin Groak yesterday. First off he emailed me back straight away and he seemed very upbeat. It looks very likely from what he was saying that the new board will be put in place very soon. He said they couldn't get much done before Christmas, and in regards to appointing new board members "there are formal processes that have to be completed first." Looks likely IMO news very soon regarding new board members. It also looks like they know who will be coming on board and Martin stated the start of 2018 would be a very busy time for the company. I can see things getting very interesting here in the short term. I will do some more digging. Happy New Year all.

I emailed the company yesterday asking whether the General has been in contact since the proposal was sent to him and got a reply the same day: "I am sorry, but I am unable to communicate any more information than that which is already in the public domain. Yours sincerely Ben Simons" At least I got a response lol as earlier in the year they sometimes didn't reply or they took ages to. Hopefully we'll get something soon.

I think we will have news relatively quickly. It's been over 3 weeks since we handed the proposal to the General. I know things take time, however it's not as if our representative hasn't been in contact with the General for long. He has been in discussions with him for a while and during those discussions they would have talked about what type of deal will work best etc and what both parties would be happy with etc. I think the proposal will just be putting in writing what they have discussed etc. Good luck all holders.

Yes totally agree uinsionn. I am loaded up here now. My father always told me to invest in companies with a great board. We have this. Once the asset news hits, there really will be a stampede here as they will look and see who is involved. But to to be honest with such a low free float I wish them good luck getting in.
