Ask yourself could you afford to lose that £2k? personally I doubt that'll happen but then the share price is arbitrary now so 10p, 5p or 2p won't alter the fundamentals, ask yourself the question... Do you think you'll see Thornton's on the high street in 2, 5 or 10 years time? I do but the business may be run into the ground by then to be picked up by a management/private equity buyout for pence in the pound. Lots of buys today the share price has been suppressed as I guess one market maker has been instructed to offload the millions of shares two institutional investors have offloaded last week, hence the suspiciously flat pricing and narrow spread today. Having said all that i've bought 2,500 shares for a bit of fun (<5% of my portfolio).
