A puzzler that I am trying to get my head around...27 Jan 2021 17:15
So the popular narrative arounbd this share is that the share price is tightly linked to BTC. That I can understand except for one thing ... surely the share price is linked to how many people buy and sell the said share, right?
So ... my expectation is that people who have bought this share are ones that understand or are arbitraging (like me) the BTC wave. So i can only surmise that the reason why the share goes down it because more people are selling the share than are buying? One factor is of course the falling price of BTC. But yet today BTC went below $30,000 and the SP barely budged. Why?
My theory is that as time has progressed the ARB tree has been shaken to such an extent that the nervous have been shaken out and only the bagholders (people who bought in at £1 or above) and LTH remain, the ones who have utter faith in the ability of comapny, BTC, BoD CEO and so on.
The fluctuation of shares is now maybe in the hands of the MMs who want to get the next tranche of shares for more institutional investors. Thats where I feel the real volatility lies and not down to price of BTC.
I would like to hear your thoughts and other theories too, or am I just talking tosh?
