About the only real action of the day

Does anyone have any thoughts on what scenario 133m shares could change hands and legitimately not trigger an RNS?
Relieved to see we are still bobbing above 4p. Odd that it’s not hammered the share price

Yeah, UKOG were very unlucky there. I expected the SCC decision to be overturned particularly with Brexit looming and the need for UK sourced utilities.

I got out of that one with a small profit in August, but was tempted to see what happened with the council verdict. It just felt a tad too risky

After the OPEC Meeting next week, perhaps there will be a production update for the last month prior to the forward planning news.
If POO continued its steady climb and our production/watercut figures are positive we could return to a 5-6p baseline. That would put us in good stead for a substantial surge on any positive forward planning news. From the 5p point a leap to double figures seems far more achievable. Far more so that from 3p.

If at the start of the week, someone told me we would finish above 4p I would have been very happy with that. Good luck all LTH

Topped up with another 50,000. In for a penny, in for a pound!

17,000 bod is an opinion, however It is based on the fact that prior to the 9/11 RNS, Beverley had claimed that 17000 was achieved. My opinion is that if this was the case, then the 9/11 RNS was giving us the worst case scenario kitchen sink projection on 12-14000 bpd. The plan being to offer a baseline projection to under promise and over achieve. They are already over achieving with the current 14500bpd. I am speculating but I reckon we could see further increases.

A month on from the Armageddon kitchen sink RNS, we have had several holdings updates showing that the Big Money sees value in HUR and they are putting their money where their mouth is.
Recently we have managed to reach and maintain a 3p+ baseline and yesterday we had a positive RNS showing 14000+ bopd. POO is showing a gradual steady rise and the overall short position is declining. Also there is speculation surround a possible takeover bid.

It’s been a nervy month but on the whole I think the management has been steady and considered and there are a lot of positives to take away. IMO we will see a gradual increase in production from now on reaching the previously tested 17,000 bpod very soon.

I’m slowly topping up and averaging down with the aim to see double figures (albeit low double figures) by the years end. Good luck all holding with hope

Well, if someone had told me last week, that we would’ve hit The high threes and finished at 3.28p this week, then I would’ve felt quite positive about it.

Here’s hoping for a strong week next week. Steady gradual gains until we receive some positive news.

This seemingly steady stable and gradual growth in SP is very encouraging indeed.
If this continues to 3.5p and 4p plus levels then on the next positive RNS we should see a marked improvement and hopefully a good leap forward.

Even without a takeover this is looking much more promising for the near future

RBC CUTS HURRICANE ENERGY TO 'UNDERPERFORM' ('OUTPERFORM') - TARGET 1 (25) PENCE

Hi all,

This is going to take a lot of patience and willpower to hold. But I think in the coming weeks we will see one or several holdings RNS’s and hopefully an update on what the new production bpd actually is. As I’ve already said, the estimate of 12-14k bpd is, I feel, them being conservative for the Armageddon RNS. I think the actual new figure will be 15000 with a gradual increase to 17000bpd given that they were pumping that much in the run up to the RNS.

This news might edge the sp up to 3.5-4p at which point we should be due some news on the new potential assets and plans For expansion.

Let’s hope that’s the case anyway

It’s been an interesting day.

It will be good to see more big investors join the party. It’s very encouraging that Fridays RNS hasn’t got them spooked

With this in mind I think the likely scenario was that the BOD wanted to share every single part of the dirty washing in one hit and offer super conservative figures for production. This was done with the aim of under promising and over delivering. I wouldn’t be surprised if the first RNS is an update on production figures that are 15,000 BPD and gradually increasing. Considering that in the weeks prior to last weeks disaster Beverly was cranking out 17,000 BPD.

The creeping doubt that this company could go under has now been eased, at least for me. I’ll steadily keep topping up sub 3p until more news emerges. This news is highly likely to be good!

Well after a weekend of soul searching I’ve decided to hold and top up with another 100k

Despite fridays Armageddon, I feel that sub 3p prices are very attractive. I’d say 5p is a solid target price by the years end.
