As you know my average is around 197 similar to yourself, so if you look at the current SP at say 145 even 10% is no good for me or you, as that would only get the SP to approx 160. We need 40% to get us back on track and that's not in the ball park ATM. All we can do now is wait patiently and hope for the best as the alternative is to sell at a loss and that's out of the question for me. He who dare's etc.

Yes that's what I am going to do but on Monday. I will set up a limit buy for first thing Monday later depending on the close price today. One good thing is that the sp is holding at 143+ and the lowest 143.40 so we ay have seen the bottom PG.

Off now for a well deserved pint and a game of snooker.

Mrd that exactly what has happened since a few months ago when it was Aug 2018 @ 184, now 143 at minus 22%

Well it did this year 2018 have a close look of what I said and the math it is very simple:-

SP day before last 6 th June 2018 EXD 1.96 This is the day before going ex dividend.
SP Ex DD 7th June 2018 1.87 This is the price on ex dividend day
SP current 1.43 This is current price

So with a +10p divi we are now down from 1.96 to current 1.43 a - 53p loss so an overall Minus approx loss of 43p about 27% loss. FACT

To answer your question where will the price be on ex divi date, trusting my math is nearly right say at current SP of say current 143 minus 27% = approx 1.04.

This is fact and based on current share price 143.

I am sorry but I am not being sarcastic and my math is based upon current fact. If we see the same drop as we did at the last divi 104 is quite possible but lets hope we turn North. You obviously did not read my post correctly.

No I am not predicting that, what my maths were based on is the price from the last ex dividend 7th June date with the 10p divi. when the SP was around 1.96 to the current SP 143. Have another good read and it should make sense.

Lets hope the SP turns by the next divi date or that price could be around right if the same % is about right. Lets hope not.

Well if NR publicly stated that the VOD Interim Results are going to be bad he should be sacked. Personally I did not hear him state that. I will listen to it again and sell if you are right !!!!!!

That's assuming a SP at the ex divi date late November to come, at the current SP of 143, it could be more or less but I doubt very much anywhere near 1.96.

Well done your last 10.29k spent at last on your 7166 at 143.528, bit more than your wanted 142 but never mind its going up now at 144.

Lest hope, now it rises, so no more wishing the SP down please lol
