Any thoughts ?
If the placing is terminated - what will happen to the SP ? No PI will be able to buy at 25p, only ii who bought already. Interesting scenario.
Just reading again the last RNS:
The Open Offer is conditional on the Placing becoming or being declared unconditional in all respects and not being terminated before Admission. Accordingly, if the conditions to the Placing are not satisfied or waived (where capable of waiver), the Open Offer will not proceed.
For sure something have convinced the ii to put another 6m into company, what, we should find soon, I guess GM date would be.
Yes, this is the elephant in the room, how or why the investors were convinced and what they were told and promised ? At the end of the day, it looks as a bargain that you can purchase share at 25-26p on the market, when the investors could buy only at 25p, 2 for 7 shares that they are holding. So if you were not a holder before, now buying directly at this price should be a good deal. Of course I could be wrong.
From Walbrook:
“All of the Company's Directors intend to participate in the Fundraising either via the Placing or the Open Offer. The £ sterling amount they each intend to subscribe for is as follows: David Budd - £20,000, Matthew Fowler - £10,000, Ian Gilham £10,000, Tom Lindsay - £15,000 and Chris Yates - £5,000.”

Shorter keep closing on Monday and Tuesday, most likely and today
Indian import license was granted on 25/06. I guess importing test, distribution and actual sales takes time. Could we see and RNS on or before 25/08 regarding Indian sales ? I am positive
Could 1 of them be PFC ?
Am I reading correctly, 2 companies to pay in total GBP 2.5m ? As far as I remember WG. were ordered to pay around GBP 175m. Barclays were estimating fine around GBP 300m.
nice directors buy , happy days ahead
Guys, may be a silly question, but once the sort position is registered, does that mean that all the shares were already sold or only that such an amount of shares were borrowed ? Does this mean that all these short positions have been sold and eventually has to be bought back at some time in the future ? As well having so many companies shortening Petrofac, could that end up and be some good as at the end all of the will have to buy the stocks back and then will be a greater demand. What are your thoughts ?
Even at 146.3 the MC will be only 12.29b which is still cheap and is 20% below February price. This is heading towards 1.80 - 2.00 soon.
Plenty of cheap company out there, now is time to buy and invest. One of my favorite FSJ , brilliant UK company with history and niche product and services.
I guess next is an approval of the US, as EU are too slow.
Hope that we all remember last Monday. I think that was an excellent lesson.
The whole point is do you want to get on board before or after the news ? News could be out and expected any minute now, after that you will have to pay 20-30-40 % extra.
Don't forget that 1 share is hold by the UK Government, so RR. can never be taken private. They are far too important. Current market cap is a joke.
Ready to explode again any day and minute now
