1) everyone knows this is a 50/50 gamble. Dunkerton will either bid or he won't. Whether anyone else bids, who knows.
2) Dunkerton made an announcement of his intention to bid and that sparked the interest obviously.
3) you should always read the RNS's as first port of call, as above.
4) then do your own research, no one is forcing you to buy or sell, it's your decision and yours only.
5) what people think of my posts is a matter for them.
6) I am female not male.
7) I am passionate about my investments and am aggravated at times by those who are clearly here simply to disrupt and/or are blatantly dishonest.
8) It does't bother me how many or how little posts you have, it's the content that either interests me or repels me.
9) there are no facts on dates other than we knew the PUSU date of 29/2 which has now been extended to 29/3. Having said that, as a bit of fun, some of us like to hazard a guess as to when an announcement might be forthcoming, particularly bearing in mind that the Dunkertons are keen racegoers at Cheltenham, and that might be an opportunity for publicity for them, if Julian does decide to make a bid.
10) I've been an investor for over 20 years, as I imagine many here have been in various stocks and shares.
11) of course there is both expectation (that a bid will be forthcoming) and speculation, stands without reason as none of us are privy to insider discussions.
12) you have to understand that some people are paid to post negative views on these forums, often by the shorting crews, and occasionally others, and you can do your own research on that.
13) people should be wise enough to make their own decisions as to whether they invest or not, peoples views on a forum are exactly that and nothing more.
14) always look at London Stock Exchange and/or the company website for the true position of the days trades. Some trades are executed off book and reported late and some seem to disappear in to the ether!
15) the sp rose in anticipation of an announcement by the company on a possible bid by Dunkerton by the first PUSU date of 29/2. It will probably rise again in anticipation of an announcement on or just prior to the second PUSU date if there hasn't been an announcement well before that. The advantage here is that there isn't the usual rabblement that you tend to find on AIM shares, where 99% of the companies fail, and the sp tends to rise on momentum, only to fall right back again at some later stage, when the chief rampers have sold out and let the sp fall like a pack of cards. I think it is quite wholesome here, in that most people who are interested and participating on this forum, are genuinely invested, and hope this comes good.
Fingers crossed.
