RE: Moved on and Prepared for Success12 Jul 2024 07:58
RogerJolly there are two sides to every coin. I came in to this on the dilution at 0.54 and averaged up a little over those few weeks. I was persauded by the investment case, initially, but needed time to research more. The presentation finished it for me, nothing more, nothing less, I would have stayed in but for the presentation, it was awful, they were unsure of themselves, they were shuffling and clearly hiding the true facts which to my mind is clearly that the TG are totally in control of the company, and there's no way of escaping that. If the company want the mining licence, they will be beholden to them, it's Africa, not the UK, and Africa still works on a bartering system. As I say, if you haven't been to Africa and seen how the system works first hand, don't even bother to comment on here about something you know nothing about. My husband worked for the world bank in the Ivory Coast, I know exactly how these things work, imagine living with someone who barters for everything even though he now lives here in the UK! Used to drive me nuts, but it's their culture, their way, they don't know anything else, and if they can get something for nothing, they will. The company is not a major so it has no clout. You can't take an African state to court over non payment of something or failure to provide something such as a mining licence, it's impossible, it just doesn't work, and you end up out of pocket for nothing. They are calling the shots, and it will remain that way. HE1 own nothing and will own nothing until they extract the minerals/gases out of the earth and to do that, they need to spend up to another £50 million to try and achieve it, and they've just raised £8 million, and had to slash the sp and dilute shareholders, so imagine them having to do that again and again another 6 or 7 times, it will be good for the traders, they will make a killing, but the long term investors will just continue to get repeated smacks on the backside with nothing to take away from here, and I doubt they ever will have anything to take away from here, unless by some miracle, a buy out occurs, but when the TG still own the minerals, they can revoke mining licences and conduct a buy out themselves! HE1 own nothing right now other than a rig. my views.
