I'm getting the feeling news is close, must be a tight ship though because the SP is not giving us any hints!!
Wiki ia always right...lol
Theres enough aggression and violence in this world without reading it on a chat board thanks. Can you all please remember theres another human behind the name and not just a computer, so please try to settle differences while being civil to one another. Thanks :-)
While I'm on.....just a mistake....out of touch ...or .....35%???

In reply to your rant I thought it was justified but not just aimed at you. There are many on here that think these deals just fall into people's laps. Some investors dont realise just how much work and DD goes into setting up a $25m RBL or working in an African country. If you invest in a company you surely have to be happy with the quality of your CEO otherwise why bother. JB is a man of pride and honour from my point of view and the fact hes calling in the cavalry says to me he wants this to succeed. Plus his statement that hes never failed in anything hes put his mind to and his CV of course.
If he proves me wrong I will put my hands up and take the hit of being wrong to my pride and more importantly my bank balance but until then I will wait to see what the can produce :-)
That's exactly why Barking,we have already added huge value to Tilapia but it takes time to get the job done properly without cutting corners. So having diversity in our portfolio allows for regular newsflow and spreading the risk.
The problem is many shareholders dont even do any real research to reassure themselves the company is moving in the right direction so always end up frustrated in the dark. Have you ever contacted Havoc to see what they thought of our Reservoir, or indeed looked at the connection between Havoc and its employees with JB and how Jonathan Taylor fits in with ATOG and that connection with the boys in blue. Have you ever contacted the boys in blue to try to gain any info about what they are doing for us and how that maybe be across more than one asset.
So I'm not surprised that people feel in the dark but our company cannot tell us every piece of info due to restrictions but that doesn't mean it's not happening so my advice is be more savvy and spend more time researching and less time moaning :0).....just a thought
Drshare, I wouldn't worry about Tilapia as I'd say it's in hand and will move as quick as possible. It may not be our comms holding it up !!
Besides I wont be voting you in for CEO you struggled just getting the month right ;-)
If you want some reassurance of JBs capabilities look again at that $25m RBL facility in place for Tilapia once 103c is producing. That's a fantastic deal to have put in place before it's even producing commercially. It's clearly been a great help having havoc to hand as theyve seen our reservoir logs and described them as excellent, plus hes part of the old school ;-)
Just some of my thoughts for the pot
Well Skittish , our pad certainly looks primed for lift off to me :0)
The great thing about domines is the more that fall, the faster they go :0)
This is really starting to build some interest now. To make it big on the AIM you need interest and intrigue with lashings of success. I feel a perfect storm brewing on the horizon. It's going to take time for all the pieces to fall but sooner or later the markets going to wake up to the story building here, especially as 103c draws closer !!
Yes it's taking far longer than we had all hoped but if the success arrives as planned everyone will be celebrating, especially Irish Mouse
Jamesons, those 2 pieces of news are all part of the Tilapia story whixh will run at it's own pace and not worth the intrigue imho. Doodlebug definitely talking about outside assets from my point of view !!
Very interesting, thanks for the heads up doodlebug.
The plot thickens, the story evolves and we are all one step closer to "seeing a success in the project" ;0)
Shut up Irish, what are you on about you gutter rodent !!!
That's my best shot .....how did I do ????
COdey, wrong. My first theory begun in February when I said we would go for the Djeno and not the Mengo, even though many on here disliked what I was saying , guess what happened. My second theory was about new assets, I started discussing Tunisian assets in February which also turned out to be true but clearly hasn't come to fruition yet even though our BOD admitted we were close to buying them. I also believe we are looking at another 2 assets, one which is serious.
My last theory was about New age or other large company looking to buy our Tilapia assset, well I'm sure we will find out that was true also !!!!
Weve been trying to but the Tunisian assets since last October, these things take time. Just because it doesn't hit the news the next day it doesn't mean it's not happening. Just like the fact the Sluice valve has been changed last week on our well head ready for the arrival of the rig. It's all go at the site at the moment but I'm sure I've just made that up too :0)
Well its certainly someone one with the inside line who wants us to know that something big is cooking in the background !!!
Trolls just dont like the fact the real news is finally getting to us.
Keep up the good work doodlebug, even the trolls are beginning to see the story building :0)
Also, like I've said many times before we are likely to see some form of PIPE deal to fund the purchase of the Tunisian assets and possibly a separate RBLbased on known reserves/production to drive that asset forward. Private Equity is the only way I can see JB can pull a rabbit from the AAOG hat.
Curious, We drilled one well on Tilapia and hit a world class reservoir from an onshore pad where it was suspected by many the Djeno would not exist. Multinationals have spent billions to harness the Djeno offshore Congo so it sounds like the reward profile was pretty spot on for an asset which we paid less than $5m for .
Many other micro caps on the AIM spend millions hitting dust time after time in the search for wells which will possibly only produce 100-500bopd and profits would be eaten by overheads . The Djeno produces 5,000bopd and drilling from an onshore pad with refining facilities only 7km away will make for a very nice business.
I measure success in how much investment is worth when I sell, so let's see how that ends :0)
New assets are where JB shines, which is proven by his past accomplishments. We will see new assets appearing soon imho. I think we will have 3 assets in our portfolio in the coming months. This was taken from our Annuals
"At present, the Company is focused on drilling TLP-103C and producing commercial volumes of high-grade oil from it. At the same time, the Company is evaluating other asset opportunities in the Congo and, possibly, further afield. The Company is particularly interested in assets offering similar risk/reward profiles to Tilapia. The Company believes that any future acquisition of assets that are attractive in terms of their risk profile and value would diversify risk and build a larger, more sustainable group."
Tiburn, personally I don think this was connected to Tilapia .........post of Nov 7th " Anerriphtho kybos" When Julius Caesar was about to cross the tiny Rubicon River in 49 B.C.E., he quoted from a play by Menander to say "anerriphtho kybos!" or "let the die be cast" in Greek
Just 5 days later, the SFP rig option RNS issued - JB committed to crossing his rubicon and securing a rig.
While Tilapia is exciting its course is already mapped out, in my opinion that quote from Caesar used by Doodlebug would only be befitting of a much grander gesture. I think his posts have all been about the Tunisian assets and the fact the inside line want us to know speaks volumes about the conclusion. I've been speaking about these assets coming to us since March and still believe they are on track to fall under the AAOG umbrella.....eventually !!
Curious, a bigger company..... a MUCH BIGGER company .
Why take DS off, if it's not coming our way. JB wont want the hassle of those assets alone. Tunisia is AAOG bound imho !!!
