I am bemused by Investor's Chronicle sometimes, I have seen many updates on their previous recommendations that have gone horribly wrong. My best advice would be to pick stocks with little or no gearing and cash in the bank, this is a firm base to work from in these erratic markets. I appreciate companies that don't sometimes meet these criteria will have a decent rise on the back of good news but I feel more comfortable with stocks that meet the criteria and then some! best of research regards Dave

Potential good RNSs to follow could possibly be the insurance payout followed by D2 resurrection followed by buyout. Now that's what I call positive thinking!!! Not beyond the realms of posibility though. regards Dave

After returning form work the epitome of tired and irritable my mood was lifted a little after checking my account and finding my FML punt sell limit had triggered at .75p! I now have some funding to spend at will tomorrow, unfortunately I missed out on MOR for the time being. From what I have read the company seem to be confident that D2 could be saved and put back into production. I still can't find an update regarding insurance but hopefully both of these issues will be resolved and announced in due course. regards Dave

No company is ever safe, Raymond Boulle certainly thinks its worth putting his money here. As Fjp states, buying this company would be relatively cheap and when managed correctly could do very well. If a takeover is forthcoming then we will have to place a guess on the offer price! regards Dave
