The highest value “TOP TRUMP” usually wins!.....?......;-)
Misiekm,
I certainly have a FORWARD PLAN in my head, as to whether that fits with Colin’s is another matter!...
Remember I have been sacked as Dawn the office administrator, as some branded me on here so not privy to what’s going on anymore!... (That was a joke for those who haven’t been on here too long and suffered the ridicule first hand by some posters!...;-)....)
Misiekm,
You have had the link to the relevant document on this!... Haven’t you read it???.....
EmeraldCarrots,
I like to think what I post is always relevant particularly when it relates to due process and doing things correctly in accordance with the associated BAT’s issued by the EU, albeit this is a slightly different industrial installation from a Gas Processing Plant, but no different from others built in EU Countries under the same governing BAT’s!.....;-)
It was a wise move to close the Strategic Review because as much as Non-Disclose Agreements offer some protection relating to Commercially Sensitive information being leaked they are not 100% watertight for those who don’t necessarily operate in a truly ethical manner!.....
Interesting news article - Would appear Jure Leben doesn’t always get his own way too, has to accommodate the wishes of the Infrastructure Ministry when required???.....;-)
The waste incinerator is gaining more and more support.
12/11/2017 01:15 Borut Hočevar
At the parliamentary committee for infrastructure, when adopting an interventional waste law, they talked about a possible new waste incinerator.
In January, the Environment Ministry will organize an excursion to Vienna to see the incinerator, MEP Jure Leben told Members.

The next political agreement will have to be reached in the treatment of waste, said Robert Pavšič, deputy PMM at a meeting of the Infrastructure Board. "We have to decide whether we will accept the strategy of incineration or treatment of waste in existing or new plants in Slovenia, or we will drive them abroad."
All options are open: "It is only necessary to determine the possibilities of setting up a new plant or reinforcing existing ones."
Since waste is a good business, Pavšič suggested that local communities should be asked if they are willing to leave one of the degraded areas for the installation of an incinerator or waste treatment plant.
"If it is regulated as in Vienna, the local community can only obtain: cheaper electricity and heat," Pavšič believes.
Something is definitely minuses, but there are also some plusos. "This must be summed up, added the latest emission filtering technology, and we can reach the win-win situation," Pavšič believes.
The greatest challenge will be social acceptance, Leben replied to Pavšič. "We are not well aware that we have a very good example of good practice in Celje." In the Celje plant, 30 thousand tonnes of light waste fractions are processed per year.
"With our team, we will do our best to finally make a step forward. We have a lot of analyzes. But we will have to go beyond social acceptance. I will decide, and it will be easier for us if we have the support of Members. "
A decision must be made for a new or existing incinerator, Leben continued. The key to it is:
● a clear agreement on the incineration,
● how we will clean up and how to monitor and monitor
● The facility for thermal treatment of waste should be non-profit. "Not to deal with balance numbers at the end of the year."
In January, the Ministry will organize a professional trip to Vienna, where they will see the incinerator. "We can also arrange things in Slovenia in a similar way," said Minister Leben.
More information about the Infrastructure Committee's meeting was unanimously supported by the law, which, according to the expert service, is unconstitutional.

Independent from him and back with the Case Officer who should have been left alone to sort the matter out before Leben stuch his beak in!...
Infrastructure Ministry: domestic gas would strengthen security of supply.
12/14/2013 00:15
For the security of gas supply, any source of gas, which is placed in an appropriate way, is positive, said Jurij Vertačnik from the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The security of supply of natural gas is governed by the European regulation and Slovenian legislation. Protected consumers are households. If the state can not protect them, they use international mechanisms, explained Yuri Vertachnik at an event prepared by Montel Energetika.net.
For security of supply, it would be very important if they had their own source of gas at least for household customers. Today, this can be domestic natural gas, and in the future it can be methane of artificial origin, Vertačnik continued.
One of the criteria for security of supply is whether, in the event of a failure of the country's largest gas pipeline, it can provide maximum use with other pipelines. In Slovenia this is not possible: if a gas pipeline with Austria near Ceršak fails, gas can not be supplied in sufficient quantities through other sources. This will be possible when a connection with Hungary is made, or any of the other facilities will be strengthened.
In addition, there are only two sources of gas in Slovenia: from Russia and Austria, from which we are receiving Russian gas.
If we had our own source - otherwise we have it, but the gas is sold to Croatia, added Vertačnik - the security of supply would increase because they would get a new source and have greater ability to provide their own consumption in case of a failure of the main supply source.
What will be the role of gases in the decarbonization of European energy, they spoke at a recent gas forum in Madrid. Vertačnik summed up some ideas.
● The gas network is the largest infrastructure for the transmission of energy in the EU, therefore it makes sense to use it.
● It is first of all sensible to replace other fuels with gas or old appliances with new ones.
● It is then advisable to replace natural gas with another gas. Replacement depends on the development of technology, so this phase takes longer, even for regulators.
● In Germany, about 10 percent of hydrogen is mixed in natural gas, accounting for 20 percent.
● Gas power plants will be important due to fluctuations in production from renewable sources.
● Renewable and low carbon gases, such as biogas, biomethane and hydrogen, will also be important; therefore, the possibilities of domestic production, cross-border trade and the integration into the gas system will have to be explored.
● After 2030, the amount of gas that will replace natural gas will increase.

EmeraldCarrots,
The question is who else had the relevant qualifications (a question mark there somewhat do we not all think!?) and credentials to do the job as the Environment Minister!.... Maybe Jure does have something to prove but this isn’t necessarily focused on Ascent, but other policies at play at the moment!.... All of which aren’t necessarily negative in relation to Ascent and Partners???......
EmeraldCarrots,
It wasn’t worth opening another PANDORAS BOX just now relating to the Minister and the prospects of him now being opened up to more abusive tweets/emails on his integrity and honesty!....
Do I really need to say much more on the matter!.... But wasn’t this what caused the problems in the first place???.....
EmeraldCarrots,
Took some a while to find this News Article relating to the Minister Jure Leben!....
However, you “DONT FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE” as they say!!!.....
New_2_LSE2108,
Search under @colhutch and not #AST you will see them!... The simple fact is that the tweets don’t necessarily have to be offensive, they can essentially be considered as applying undue pressure to the Ministers involved!...
