Unless they are talking about the 56 sample evaluation then surely avacta will have to release something in the morning.

Officially (via RNS) avacta have had nothing to do with the government validation process.

I've wondered about this too as the test is not saliva and would now require buffer solution after swabbing it's going to be a bit awkward ****ed up queuing for a nightclub.

It's been mentioned last night though why did the DHSC comment at all? Not denying it but actually saying "excellent preliminary results and is currently being assessed." Is that a breach of NDA? It must blow the doors off and must trigger an RNS to confirm or deny tomorow Shirley.

Sounds like porton down are already in the late stages of validation.

Fairly pointless trying to predict, may aswell just wait and see..
