RE: ABDX Fundraiser. The devils in the detail.1 Dec 2021 07:35
Avct have announced this, its not new news
Manufacturing process has been transferred to Abingdon Health and the validation batches are now entering production. • Abingdon Health could add a further 1-2 million tests per month capacity
CFO states cash runway sufficient through to 2023 ( without including any LFT sales ) . AVA6000 +other projects including "Enables expansion of recruitment into ongoing phase I study to include eligible US patients upon opening of clinical sites in early 2022" already bugeted . If that means just more sites will be added to the 6 already mentioned in UK and assume they stick with approx P1 trial @ 80 patients then costs per patient already covered .
Avacta continue to expand their diagnostics team so surely expect incoming revenues to flow end 2021 /grow throughout 2022 + any affimer therapeutics licence /stage payments etc will also boost cash coffers . So cash ok for AVA6000 However who knows what will happen in late 2022/2023 for Avacta ? Nasdaq listing - buy out -affimers into clinic - If fund raise required at a later stage not a problem if at premiuim to SP at the time needed . Market cap value rather undervalued at the moment so all to play for still in my opinion - exciting times .
Am I right in saying that PCR will be easy to confirm as they can use the synthetic samples?
but for our lateral flow test we will need live virus which is much harder to come by? Although because of where the Affimer binds its highly likely to detect omnicron.
Started in August and was always due to run into 2022
